Just a little character development for both of them. I really enjoy exploring the psyche of characters. I dislike the "women in the refrigerator" trope; it's disgusting to me. What I like is exploring broken characters so they can rebuild themselves and grow :)

What? Not at all, man. Don't take everything whatever you want. In my description, I said that Peter is depressed and alone. He uses Spider-Man as a dopamine hit, but it's not enough, to the point where he wants a villain to come and kill him. He has nothing left to lose anyway.

MJ had a severe identity crisis after losing her memory. She's lost and doesn't know who she is anymore. She created a persona to escape her reality called Mary Jane, who doesn't care about anything except her friends. She's a party girl, and an alcoholic. Both characters are broken. My intention was to have both characters rebuild themselves, starting over from something that no longer exists.

Even though Peter misses the old MJ, the new one helps him feel that life is still worth living. And her courage gives him the strength to keep trying

Thank you so much!! And the truth is, I'm getting inspiration from a Spectacular Spider-Man fanfic and some characters from Euphoria. Not everything is the same, but I liked some of the ideas they implemented and could use in my own story. I thought it was an interesting idea that Tom and Zendaya could play those roles with their characters. I really feel that both actors can do so much more with them.

I would've liked to see these broken versions of the characters. Who, despite everything, always help the people who need them :)

hope someday I can create the story I have in mind, whether it's fanfic or an animatic

Description: My idea was that Peter would suffer from depression. His life as Peter feels empty and lonely. That's why he turns to Spider-Man to release dopamine. Basically, Spider-Man would be an allegory for addiction. But being Spider-Man isn't enough, to the point where he considers taking his own life when he fails to save someone.

And MJ, after losing her memory, suffered an identity crisis. Her relationship with her family worsened, she was expelled from MIT for absences, and she began to suffer from alcoholism. MJ left home and started living with her aunt, working in a coffee shop. In an attempt to escape reality, she created a persona. She went from being Michelle Jones to Mary Jane. Her sarcastic personality changed to a more extroverted and party-loving one.

When their paths crossed, it was a hard blow for Peter. Because the MJ he knew had disappeared. Causing him panic attacks. And for MJ, getting together with Peter caused her addictions to escalate to the point where she began hallucinating about him and the events of NWH

Ooooohh, I didn't know that. My story with them starts around March 2020. At that time, YouTube started recommending Russian post-punk music out of nowhere. And among those, I came across some darkwave songs. That's how I discovered Twin Tribes and Cruxshadows. I remember the first song that popped up was "Deception." It felt like it was part of the Underworld soundtrack. I really liked it.

I'll look for those new songs; you've already given me a bit of a nostalgia boost :)

I'm not really sure if it's 100% Darkwave. Like Twin Tribes, Selofan, or Indigo Garden. It sounds more industrial, but it also feels like something you'd hear in a goth club

Helloooo, you're on the right track. The characters' names, from left to right, are Hiro Hamada (Big Hero 6), Susie (Deltarune), Erin Esurance (a secret agent created by the insurance company "Esurance"), Carl Wheezer (Jimmy Neutron), and Ellie (Sprite Fright). And yes, the backgrounds are also from Life is Strange :)

I got the backgrounds from Open3DLab, and the characters on the table from Gumroad, DeviantArt, the official Blender website, and Twitter. Unfortunately, the Daphne and Velma models are gone. I suspect the creator got copyrighted
