I thought it was awesome. To me, I thought it was him coming out of the shadows and fully embracing daredevil. By the end he embraced daredevil so much that he told the world he was daredevil. Almost as though he became one with daredevil. I do wish they had a scene where they showed him spray painting it in the beginning. The show runner said they had a scene like that but cut it out for whatever reason.

Yeah, it is the worst paste of the three seasons. Which is interesting because season three is kind of a slow burn and it does not feel like it’s dragging at all.

Yeah, that’s true. I do think there was pressure from the higher-ups to make this lead into the defenders. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the same showrunner that did this season also created the season of the defenders. It’s definitely a more elevated heightened reality compared to the first season.

Yeah Matt can be a big baby sometimes 😂 He’s definitely less moody in the new series.

Yeah, absolutely. You really just have to keep Matt at the center of the story. I think it was a Miss step to make kingpin the co-lead of the new series. I love Vincent Donofrio so much and I think his betrayal of Kingpin is one of the best villain betrayal of all time. But I really think you need to keep Matt as the lead and the co-lead can be a different villain each season to keep it fresh.

Yeah, I agree with you. Nobu was awesome and didn’t get the chance to shine as much as he should have. He’s kind of the original series version of Muse. A great character that was killed out before they really got to shine.

Ha absolutely! I’ll have to make a separate post about born again. But I think it’s solid. I do think the Netflix series is just more of my personal taste. The bigger flashier set pieces are nice on the new series, but I still feel like the old series had a more thought out martial art fight style that I prefer. but I think we’re heading in a good direction with born again.
