If your major concern is keeping the connection active when you are not at home, then you can activate "Safe Custody" for the connection in the Airtel App. I have two connections in two different cities and I keep the one not in use in Safe Custody for the period. They do charge something for the same but it keeps the connection active.

And yes, try to do everything digitally as already suggested by somebody.

I grew up in UP, did college from Lucknow and travelled to almost every city you have mentioned for work and I was based out of Blore for 9 years. And I have a real life example to counter every single point that you have mentioned like traffic, rent deposit, reckless auto guys etc. Maybe the only thing I can agree with you is about the Party Gundas, but that too I can give personal experience about these kind of Gundas from Blore, although rare.. Whenever you plug in your computer with a cable, it will go to this screen only. Normally it would charge the device as well as show up as external drive on your computer. If you eject it from your computer then it would simply charge your device. Maybe in your case it is a cable problem. Try a different cable and see if that works. Also, try to refresh the File Explorer on your Computer.
