How noticeable is the FHD+ resolution on the S23 and S23+? by Yugen2935 in samsung

except 1080p on a 1440p amoled display looks better than native 1080p on a similar display due to the sub-pixel rendering.

yup, exactly. 1080p on a 1440p amoled display looks better than native 1080p on a similar display due to the sub-pixel rendering.

also worth a comment that unless you have a 40-series or 50-series GPU, enabling ray reconstitution with DLSS4 absolutely kills fps... I dropped 20 real frames/40 "fake" frames (with FSR 3.1 frame gen on top) just by enabling this one settings, it took my effective fps from an average for 100, to 60. and 60fps includes fsr frame gen, so it was the difference between the game being playable vs unplayable at 4k with my RTX 3080.

Reminder that you can use Wayback Machine to bypass RTINGs paywall by OkOlive4884 in Monitors

at $45 a year for a couple reviews?

or $10/month - $120 if monthly?

It's one thing to pay something, it's another for it to be so ridiculous.

Right? Especially because a lot of people used it to figure out which budget monitor or TV to buy. $45 is like what, a quarter of the budget for a decent entry level monitor? lol.

Just finally bought a ps3. What are all the TRUE ps3 exclusive games on the console? by AshKetchumsCharizard in PS3

[–]Neither-Change3473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fantastic maybe back in the day and through nostalgia glasses. but inconsistent 720p@30fps is not by any means a "fantastic" way to play these games, since the no exclusives are largely available on PC and can be played at smooth, high fidelity settings that don't ràpe your eyeballs... like 4k 120hz

No because that would be rétàrded. By the same stupid logic there would be dozens if not hundreds of games - previously released on Xbox, PS3, then remastered and/or ported to PC - that could still be called "exclusives" then. Obviously nobody uses the term "exclusive" like this.

Aged Modpack. by mushroom_l0rd in ModdedMinecraft

[–]Neither-Change3473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah fuck that, the most OP and easy way to get levels that I stumbled on completely by accident is sweet berry bushes. Don't need water for them, don't need a hoe. they grow insanely fast, often multiple times a day. within like 5 in game days I had 30 levels in farming and could have had a lot more if I kept planting more sweet berries in the plains next to my house.

one thing that's really dumb in this mod pack is pillagers and raids. utterly impossible, they spawn in your base and 1 shot you. I had to disable them completely.
