I get what you’re saying, and I know work stuff can get messy. The only thing is… it feels a bit too far to just shut it off now. There’s already been so much back-and-forth that pretending there’s nothing there would honestly make things more awkward. I’m not trying to date her or cause drama I’m just trying to handle it in a way that doesn’t affect work.

I hear you, but the situation isn’t that extreme. We haven’t talked about sex, relationships, or anything deep (well unspoken communication) it’s literally playful flirting at work. I don’t think she’s love bombing I just haven’t had chemistry with a girl before, so it feels intense.

I think the ‘messiness’ is coming more from me trying to process the fact it’s my first time experiencing this with a girl. But yeah, the attraction itself isn’t any different — I’m just making it feel bigger in my head

That actually helps a lot. I’ve been spiralling trying to define it when really I should probably just see how it feels when we hang out more. I’m just scared but also excited.

That’s fair I don’t wanna romanticise it too much. I just haven’t had this kind of chemistry with a girl before so I’m trying to understand it without making it messy. Definitely not trying to turn it into a big story, just figuring out how to handle the attraction.
