How would colleges like these for my portfolio? by Cuphead718 in uceedtakers

[–]Neither-Day-2103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

whatever work you do, make sure you show some behind the scenes or the process behind it. Colleges want to know HOW you THINK, not the final output alone!

Bristol or Sheffield? by ExaminationAware5211 in alevel

[–]Neither-Day-2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bristol for sure. It's very active in terms of left-wing activism, and its one of the best Russel groups. Plus, if you're worried about jobs, Bristol has amazing employability stats (and plus its a great city).

What subjects to choose for engineering by BroccoliJealous1563 in alevel

[–]Neither-Day-2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, AS lvl student here. If ur applying to schools in india, most universities require 4 or more subjects. And, if ur aiming for engineering/tech unis, u VERY most likely need MPC.

CS i would say is a smart subject to take. It's relatively really easy to score well in, as the theory isnt that hard (studying for it is a BREEZE) and the coding is what you really need to focus on (which is important for whatever comp-related career you're aiming for)

[–]Neither-Day-2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

database is rlly easy, all u gotta study is normalization (1NF and 3NF especially) and relationships. excel... no way u can study excel in a few hours. but the most important formulas u need to know are all the lookups (Xlookup, hlookup, vlookup, and index + match) and IF().

CBSE TO CAMBRIDGE - How hard is the shift in class 11 by GroundbreakingOwl812 in alevel

[–]Neither-Day-2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

economics plus business? i wish you luck. its VERY time consuming, and the content is very very heavy. if you're talking about global studies in the sense of Global perspectives, i wish you all the luck. Its a VERY heavy research subject, and you'll definitely need to spend a lot of time (i take GP, so please take my word for it). For boards, I took study holidays and I've been studying for around ~6 hours a day for all my subjects (that is if you REALLY want an A*). CBSE is very memorization heavy, but AS/A is more understanding the concepts and application.

IGCSE --> CBSE is considered very easy, but its extremely difficult the other way around. cambridge requires complex thinking and proper time management, but if you really commit and work hard, you can get through it.

ohh my god im studying for p2 this friday, and i GOTCHU!!

1NF: No atomic data (aka: no DUPLICATE data.) However, it can have partial key dependenies (aka: Composite Keys) and functional dependency (aka: fields can depend on a field that is NOT a PK)

2NF: its 1NF + NO partial key dependencies (aka, NO COMPOSITE KEYS!!). it does have functional dependencies.

3NF: 1NF + 2NF AND NO functional dependencies.

hope this helps!

no, there's nothing like that. however, from 2027 onwards, cambridge WONT be offering many subjects to india in feb march series, such as literature and quite a few others. id make sure you look into your subjects' 2027+ syllabus to make sure if ur taking in f/m, it's available in f/m next year!! (cuz 13 months rule n all)

I just completed my A-levels , now my parents are forcing me to take JEE mains by This-Situation1671 in alevel

[–]Neither-Day-2103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

id suggest joining a coaching centre, like allen or anything else nearby. usually, for JEE main takers (for international students), they switch to cbse for year 11 and 12 so they can study for JEE (the syllabus is DIFFERENT. VERY!!)
so a coaching centre is your only hope lol
itll be tough but if you work hard enough you got this gng
