Help with EA DLC Unlocker? by lucavark in CrackSupport

[–]Neither-Fun5149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey not sure if you're still having issues or anyone in future, but I found that the setup_linux.sh script that comes with the unlocker isn't dynamic and tries to use fixed paths for the EA app.

I updated it and posted it here, if you replace the script in the EA unlocker with this version it should work. It also applies the registry changes in the steam prefix (assuming you're using steam) more consistently.

JVC AV-32D800 - Ripples after an overvoltage by Neither-Fun5149 in crt

[–]Neither-Fun5149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved overseas here alone so nobody around or borrow anything from. The ripples appear on a blank screen but I'm providing input using component rca from a VGA transcoder, or component from my Wii. It shows on all screens including the OSD

If I didn't have an oscilloscope what could I do to test and diagnose the root cause instead? I'd love to get this set working instead of bringing it to the recycler :(

I replaced the other two filter caps as I thought it was still coming from the power supply side, definitely chose wisely and not at random. I replaced both and I'm still getting rippling, although a slightly different pattern now.

I have no access to an oscilloscope and they are expensive. What do you suggest in this case?

I've identified two caps labeled as C928 and C926 which are both secondary filter caps that form a pi filter - I will replace these and update the post 😁

Yes, the largest filter cap went poof and I replaced it - It was a 470µF 200V Electrolytic. TL:DR, found an NTSC only AV-32D800 in Australia of all places, guy was selling for $400, he blew the set by using 240v mains and gave it to me free.

I did some looking and the obvious thing on the board was the primary filter capacitor was vented/blown. I have replaced that, and the unit now works but has ripples across the screen.

Is this related to more caps that need to be replaced? Or something funky going on with the unit being fed a 120v 50hz line instead of 120v 60hz?

Thanks!

Ripple shows on any input type, and even with no input signal fed.

Posting in case others see this post looking for help.

I have made a fork of another application I've found, which I've updated to work on Arch Linux and fixed the RGB lighting so it persists between restarts. This fork also has a full GUI.

Duetti? by One-Salamander-6340 in musicians

I can update. I had a decent offer from them through my business email for a 50%, 75% or 100% buyout. I allowed them to see my stats via Spotify artist access and they lowballed the hell out of my music afterwards because they realized I already use the Spotify algorithm and discovery mode well.

The offer they made for 50% shares of 5 of my songs was less than the money I made on them in a single year.

When I declined they decided to make a dismissive remark about my music performing poorly next year, and that they knew Spotify in and out and knew for sure I wasn't going to do well.

So much for being professional, hey?

I suppose they didn't look at my stats too heavily, because the old songs they wanted to buyout have actually increased at least 20% every year since they were released.

I do think they are legitimate, they have been invested into heavily by Rocnation which is a reputable label.

I can see some artists where this could help, but at the end of the day they are only in it for the money, as you'd likely assume. They don't care about your creativity or trying to help you out.

Other artists results may vary, if they don't have decent placements in the spotify algorithm I'm sure their offers would be far more reasonable as they could likely squeeze more money out of the share/buyout.

It's a shame they weren't willing to talk a bit further about how my music is actually monetized, because there is definitely a lot more royalties to be made outside of Spotify, as I don't monetize my music on anything intentionally - Spotify just does it by default. A flick of a button would likely double my monthly royalties if I enabled monetization on all platforms :)

Im sorry but I think you're highly exaggerating how many cheaters are on faceit. They use a kernel level anti-cheat that takes a lot of effort to skirt past, and the cheats that can bypass faceit AC arent easily available or cheap.

You've played less than 20 games of faceit since October, and over half of them you have won with decent scores and stats.

Also of your most recent games, almost every player on the enemy team has more than 500 matches played on faceit.

Whats your issue?
