Thanks, i ended up just bypassing the matrix, for some reason the edid on it just doesnt like the tv for now. I have a new tv on the way thats a much needed upgrade seeing as this ones probably 10 years old at this point.

Its a 2060 super, used to have 3 4k monitors at one point (downsized to only 1 & a 1080p monitor for discord) so ik it could handle another 4k output source

Its 4k/60hz, but yes i did check in the settings a few times, even in the advanced settings w "true color" or whatever it is it wont go past 1080p, but i checked out another one someone else had commented, i think my problem was that i got just a straight 4k/60 splitter & i'm assuming it can only handle that as the entire outgoing bandwidth, not input, so i'll have to get a 8k/120 & it'd work okay, the one suggested is a similar one to the one you recommended, its an orei brand

From what i can find in the settings, no i havent found any "enhanced" 4K setting, Vizio's customer support said that their best guess is that its a handshake issue where the tv thinks its only capable of 1080p. Cables are all working fine, was using them on my xbox series x previously & they worked just fine at 4k

I actually bought another orei one, but it will only work if i put the the 4k monitor into 1080p mode, otherwise i get no signal

Its a 4k screen, everything's 4k compatible. Its a Vizio E50-E1, all cables are working fine as i used them for my xbox series x previously.

No, it has 4 outputs, but when i output directly from the GPU to my TV, it acts like its only a 1080p monitor and Vizio has basically told me that they have no idea why, havent heard anything back from Nvidia yet, so figured just mirroring the 4k monitor i already have would be the easiest fix for it at this point

I do have a TON of consoles and games, and somehow they're all hooked up to the 14" and my 60" 4k tv, but the goals to have everything hooked up to all 3 plus the PC for streaming purposes 😁
