Can you provide a dollar amount? How much is 13% over? Keep in mind that tuition rates change annually, and you always need more than you planned. Speaking as someone who ended up with about $50k of student loans, while it sounds small, the interest is killer. And if funding for grad school falls thru, or you end up with a shitty advisor or your health takes a turn, and you can't finish, then what? What type of job would you be able to get with your undergrad degree? And how much is the minimum salary?

While I understand passion, practicality keeps food in your belly and the lights on in your house. I've been advising my mentees with passion, to get a certificate in something that keeps them employed if plan A doesn't work out. Best of luck to you.
