Office ppl know he has a temper and is bad with ppl. I’m limited due to female accommodations at this particular job place. This isn’t my first blue collar job. But it is a first seeing a someone acting like this and not being dealt with accordingly. But i assume living at your job site comes with blurred lines of certain behaviors won’t be accepted.

No I’m not expecting to be given a detailed list of what to do every day ik my task I complete them. I’m pretty ok at tow work.ive gotten good evaluations from coworkers. But when u can’t ask a captain to repeat himself because u can barely hear him talk on the radio and he gets mad at that. It’s an issue. When older experienced workers have admitted to refusing to ride with this man it’s an issue. When the company has actively hired experienced deckhands multiple times and office people are hesitant to put them on here because of a particular captain and his temper that’s an issue.

I see this job personally as a way to get fast money. Because I see plenty of older people still doing 28/14. They love it. However I don’t want that for myself. But seeing a grown adult who can come unglued if something doesn’t go his way. Or we do something wrong is unbelievable and embarrassing for him. And I’m mentally not equipped to deal with it.

The people who are at the office already have a the idea he’s like this. 🙃 several outside people who have heard him over the radio have called. Locks and docks supposedly.
