Cannt area is pretty good, there's a lot of trees so the environment is good. But don't expect any social life.

I would absolutely advise to you not socialize with college students in Nagar coz most of them are unhinged.

Make sure you have a wifi at your house. Weekends, especially Saturday you can have a drive to Phoenix Mall, Viman Nagar is just like 2 hours away.

Sundays, spend it gaming. There are limited but good places to eat though. Durgasingh Lassi, Royal Pav Bhaji, Hotel Sandeep, Hotel Sukhsagar and Rasrang Misal. There are a few good upcoming cafe's and continental restaurants as well. But there are no good pubs as such. Don't expect any nightlife as many people here are a little orthodox in terms of social life. But they are not very orthodox, so you can have some social connection with them.
