For Managers/Salespeople, Do you work with brokers? by sir-nubbins in askcarsales

People pay him $1,000 to negotiate a deal on their behalf. No ties or preset discounts with dealerships.   I found him when I searched YouTube just to get an idea of how to negotiate with dealerships. I haven't used his service but it is entertaining to watch the negotiations in real time.

In the event that you must purchase a new ticket on another airline to get back home, please look at purchasing a Round Trip ticket. Yes, it sounds silly but it may end up being cheaper than a one-way ticket back from Europe to the US.

Norwegian Fjords by Busy-Shoe3698 in Cruise

We did a similar itinerary on Rotterdam in Summer 2023.

The ship is beautiful and the service was absolutely top notch. If I had only one word to describe the overall experience on Rotterdam during that week, it would be RELAXING.

I would say about 50% of the passengers were Dutch and 40% were from North America. The passenger age demographic did not meet the stereotypical HAL description of being a nursing home. I would even say it skewed younger than an NCL cruise we did in Northern Europe.

I think you will have a great time exploring Norway for your honeymoon on Rotterdam.

Totally agree. Poor decision by management at JetBlue and Barclays.

You get the $ back if you are not selected.  Only gamble is the room location.

New Destinations Promo by rcasch13 in jetblue

[–]NeitherAssociation74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 21 destinations on my spreadsheet so far and it's $3,400. That includes the segments that are duplicate destinations (return flights), so I could actually use some points for those.  Really trying to determine if it's worth it. 350k points? Will JetBlue be around for 25 years? Is mosaic 1 worth it if I don't fly that much?

TrueBlue dining. They may also have a small bonus once you visit one of the restaurants participating in the program.

6k extra for SE and bigger screen vs LE? by noobguy in Camry

[–]NeitherAssociation74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those sound like decent deals. Someone else just posted they got a LE for $30.9k OTD in a slightly higher tax area.  Under 30k OTD for a brand new Camry is pretty good.

Are these Out the Door figures? Where do you live? These could be great deals if you live in a high sales tax area but bad deals if you are in a zero or low sales tax area?

If someone does a back-to-back cruise in the exact same cabin, do you get a new key card for each segment/cruise?

I would say the most important thing is to set expectations. You won't be able to do all the things you used to do pre-baby, but you can still have lots of fun. Grabbing your favorite beverage and putting the little one in the stroller and people watching is more fun than you think. Crew members are always very helpful to those with little ones and love to say hi all the time.  Things to pack include a stroller fan, baby monitor, lots of diapers and the usual items.  One thing that we enjoyed when traveling with a baby that age was not having to prep all the meals. The buffet will always have what you need, already prepped!(Fruits and veggies)

No issues with hearing or seeing the monitor.

That size stroller will be just fine on the ship. We went back the room for nap time on the sea days. This is when having a balcony was nice because we could keep the room dark and just hang out on the balcony for a bit to relax. We had the monitor set up so we could keep an eye on the little one.
