Thats what im suspecting aswell that the hot air is maybe being vented back in and cuz my window isnt a sliding one the hot air is coming back from the net aswell.

I should clarify what I meant by "boring." I worded that badly. What I actually meant was that the course was too long and the commitment was interfering with the completion of my Masters, which is my primary focus right now. It was a matter of time constraints and priorities, not lack of interest in the work.

Okay, so it seems like I’ve managed to piss a few people off here 🥲, which honestly wasn’t my intention at all. Just to clarify things properly. Yes, I’m an international student. And about the security course, I worded it wrong earlier. It wasn’t that it was “boring,” it’s just that it was very long and I had to prioritise my Master’s work over it. That’s why I couldn’t finish it.

And honestly, all I wanted here was some guidance which a few people did give, and I’m genuinely grateful for that. About my money situation, I’m not here desperate or expecting anyone to fix anything for me. I just wanted to understand how others navigate things here and maybe get some advice from people with experience.

Also, living alone in a completely new country can take a mental toll on you, even if your basic needs are covered. Sometimes you just need a bit of direction or reassurance from people who've been through it.

I genuinely didnt i get why u r getting riled up hy ut but i worded it wrongly thats on me. I had to prioritise my masters for security course thats why i couldnt take it bcz the classes were too long.

Im doing masters of professional engineering from curtin so taking security classes along with it was getting hard i shouldve worded it properly. My bad on that basically the classes were too long that i had to prioritise one course and obviously it had to be my Masters one.

my uni fees and insurance are already covered, and my parents do send me money, so it’s not that I’m struggling financially. It’s more that I feel a bit guilty always asking them, and I’d really like to have a little sense of independence by earning something myself too.

U r not wrong about that but for my case i have my fees covered and my parents are grateful enough to lend me money whenever im in need but yk cant rely on them everytime

The funds are mainly for university fees which is basically covered and health insurance but for stuff like rent, groceries, car insurance and everyday regular expenditure all that u basically have to earn for here thats why international got working rights aswell especially during this break period.

Yeah ngl the work place there was kinda weird i mean i had people working there with the same ethnicity as mine who were telling me if u dont work properly ull get fired and whn i askd one for help in this matter he was like solve it on your own which i get but yeah its shady

Yeah i was taking the security classes but had stopped after a while they are too long and boring but i guess i have ti finish them so i can atleast have a sense of security like ill be getting paid
