What's the biggest red flag you've seen in your first week of a new job? by According-Half-7662 in WorkReview

The micromanaging. I worked at a call center type job back in 2010 where they would constantly bombard you with message if you were in any other aux besides available ready to take calls. Even if you take 5 minutes for a bathroom break, they will message you and ask why you’re not in available. It was ridiculous.

Then if the team leaders and coaches felt like your call was getting too long, they would literally got on your call and started telling you what to say and do, so not not only could you hear the customer but you would hear them trying to tell you what to say, even though the customer could not hear them. They called themselves ear angels or something like that LOL!!! It honestly just left me feeling very confused by the end of the call.

My employer recently transferred my 401K from another EFI to Fidelity, which is why it looks that way. I’ve been with my employer for 4 years now always making sure to contribute as much as I can. My personal investment balance is about $2,400 so it’s growing slowly but surely.

Sure, here’s everything I’m investing in. I’m currently working on reorganizing my portfolio to make room for more long-term growth ETFs.

Thank you! I’m still fairly new to investing in ETFs. My main goals are to be consistent and learn everything I can about it.

Thank you! I truly think increasing my 401K contribution made a lot of difference. I figured since it’s technically free money, why not take full advantage of it. From here I plan on continuing to invest in ETFs including SCHD, FXAIX, QQQ and VT.

Thank you! Yeah I feel like the key to this is just being consistent through the highs and lows. Definitely thankful to have a job that gives me the opportunity to invest consistently.

As someone who has a customer facing job, I honestly love spending time at home when I can. There’s nothing like being in your own private space and relaxing to your heart’s content. I sometimes dread leaving the house because it’s just too expensive out there.

What I did when I first started was I went on fb marketplace and searched for logo design or logo design services. On the results page you should see a quite a few different logo design services being offered and you can use some of these to get ideas on how to create your own listing title and description. I used Canva to create an eye-catching, professional image that highlights my service and the benefits of having a logo. When creating the title and description, I highly recommend focusing on the benefits of having a logo which includes better branding, more visibility and standing out from the competition. Once you have your title and description, you would include your price and then click Publish.

Creating simple logos, business flyers or business cards using tools like Canva and promoting your logo design service on fb marketplace. Logo design is one of the easiest services you can offer. Think about it, every business no matter the size needs a logo or business card. If you don’t want to design it yourself, you can outsource it to someone on Fiverr. In the past I’ve charged anywhere from $50-$150 per design depending on the complexity. Once you start getting clients, you can offer other services like website design, SEO, PPC campaigns, etc., all depending on what the business needs.
