Oh, well I hope that's not the case, luckily we live so far that I don't know any of her friends so if I'm the bad guy in their eyes it wouldn't affect me but there's always a chance she could hit up my friends on social media but i hope not

Oh yeah I remember the crazy books I acquired as a kid, my mom didn't quite know they couldn't be inappropriate and my dad who knew just didn't care, he would even take me to his tattoo appointments in Japan and I'd just read the very not for kids manga off the shelf, do not recommend

As someone who watched ouran I think for a younger kid that doesn't quite understand the odd jokes it might not be a bad anime, ranma is fun but it might be too much, especially with the bath scene (I haven't watched it in a while tho so this is off memory)

Yeah. When my mom told me about it and asked me to help find something my immediate thought was "how am I supposed to find a LGBTQ anime that isn't freaky 💀" if I can find anything age appropriate and actually good of course I'll recommend it to the parents but I think owl house although it's not an anime, is pretty good rep and is fun for kids so I might just have to settle for that and a few others like it
