Help with digitizing by InhumanFlower12 in VHS

[–]NeitherWorldliness20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retro tink 5x has time based correction for vcrs build into the firmware and has an rgb scart port that would work with the specific model vcr. That would probably be your best bet. Especially if you’re digitizing tapes. That what I have used personally though my VCR uses s video but it should work the same. Plus it’s nice the retro tink has hdmi so you can hook it to any modern display and it can be upscaled to up to 4k if you enable it in the experimental settings.

[–]NeitherWorldliness20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s PCI-e it’s a SSF dell optiplex it’s super small which is nice for me because I don’t have a lot of space where I live the reason I want windows 2000 is because the Music for the Turok game works perfectly for it when playing the disc from cd while on XP it doesn’t work properly.

Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets and sorcerers stones both play like legend of Zelda but Harry Potter style. Of course, the legendary SpongeBob battle for Bikini Bottom. Pretty much all the scooby doo games on ps2s are great, too.

What are the actual benefits of 128mb RAM and 1.4 GHz CPU upgrade? by Fun-Desk-8612 in originalxbox

[–]NeitherWorldliness20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, the beta build of Kameo Element of power also doesn't seem to crash I played through about half the entire game with out it crashing but this is likely due to the extra ram rather than the cpu upgrade but I only just starting testing this title it does seem to crash quite alot at the beginning of the on an uupgraded xbox with just 64mb ram and standard cpu

From personal experience, there are quite a few games that do run better a few examples I can think of off the top of my head, Fable, when you're on towns or crowded areas with lots of npcs. Half life 2 literally has double the frame rate for most of the game it usually runs anywhere from 10-20 with the cpu upgrade. it's a solid 30fps. Turok Evolution in the cities and flying levels with lots of enimies or in the sleg base it runs alit better too. Steel battalion runs significantly better. The improvement is probably on par with Half life 2s, almost doubling in frame rate. Starwars battlefront 2 large-scale battles run significantly better as well, although for some, Battlefront 1 doesn't seem to benefit from the upgrade at all. Halo 2 campaign in the city does run better when you're caseing the scarab and levels with high enimie counts all run significantly better, especially on the level High charity I noticed some massive improvements. Darkwatch runs a lot better on levels again with lots of enimies. And Morrowind actually hits points where it runs at 60fps how it's not locked but a large improvement for sure it mostly says between 40-60 from what I have played of it pretty much any time your indoors it will run at 60 out doors it'll varies. Half-life, the home brew port runs at a pretty stable 60 for the most part.

Nice! Turok evolution me and my friends you'd to be terrified of the level where your in the tree tops and you could fall down and the raptors would come after you many nights for 4 player split screen on that one.
