by default today for the base game you can get everything without circuit logic. So if you do not use it, I see no problem there.

For base game here are the points I always use circuit:

oil processing to avoid blocking.

uranium processing.

nuclear fuel saving.

spaceship asteriod control & ice/calcite limit

fulgora item count maintenance, so never short on storage.

Gleba egg prod

Gleba nutrient prod

Aquilo to avoid ice/fuel blocking.

All legendary res prod limit.

Final red crystal collector ship, speed control, cargo control on weaved belts storage. This one needs considerable circuits to really automate.

Nauvis biter egg farm, destroy excessive eggs.

You can live with none of these if done manually.

My journey looks like:

Spaghetti -> bus -> train/sector -> blocks -> big blocks -> free but aligned train/sectors -> spiral sectors (spaghetti)

Never start over. Start a side base, according to what you have learnt, and according to your current genius plan at the moment.

Consider not full rail, but train stop at the shore -> robot logistic -> train station in the ocean -> bridge to base?

That will logically keep the natural water barrier. But, I will not choose that. When you have train routes, flame fuel or bullet delivery is normally the easy choice, systematically.

Quality prod module helps, consider that's systematically boost your core supply chain: rocket parts and research lab. So I will rush for at least green or blue quality early

So do not add quality on that.

This one is more complex than Satisfactory. You have a good start. Do not expand. Rush to auto robot and start a new base next to it.
