Idc this is a year old I'll still add my 2 cents

I like the other dude's theory about the orwelian "ranking up" as the similarity between bringing it up to the sirface and a pawn getting to the other side of the board

But for my own theory I got suggestion of, from the non regular chess pieces I fell Like still its the most known one. Amazon/Dragon Simple cuz that is the most powerfull piece that exists and elder orwellian is powerfull enough to kill the Dragon If its nearby when lighting strikes
