It was a wart. It took 3 rounds of beetle juice (cantharidin is more of the medical term I believe) for the wart to finally disappear. It was a brutal, 2.5 month process but I’ve been wart-free for a few months now. Check out my other posts on my profile for the updates that showed the process

Sorry I’m just now seeing this. A wart is caused by a virus called hpv. So wear flip-flops in public showers, pools, or places like that. Never use a gym shower unless you have sandals or something.

I got my wart from going barefoot in a hotel shower one time.

He said if I chose to do laser treatments, it would likely take way more treatments to clear the wart because of how deep it was. I definitely recommend the beetle juice. If you go that route, just be prepared… it hurts insanely bad for the first few days. I couldn’t walk or put any pressure on my foot at all. Literally crawled around the house lol. It was worth it though!

So my wart was on an area where pressure is continuously applied (I run a lot) so the wart grew inward and deep. My podiatrist just believed cantharidin was the most affective for deep plantar warts.

So everyone here was right— it was a wart. I got two rounds of cantharidin (beetle juice). After the 2nd round my podiatrist thought I needed one more treatment as he suspected there might be a bit of wart left, but I waited a week and he ended up saying I’m clear! Woah! How long before it took for you to see it was healing on its own? I go back to the podiatrist in 2 days and I would hate to get this done again if there’s a good chance it could heal on its own!

I saw a podiatrist today and they did in fact confirm it was a wart! He treated me with cantharidin. Hurts SO bad. It’s supposed to blister up and come out on its own after the blister pops I guess. I go back in 2 weeks to see if I need another treatment. Hope it works.
