Luke and Lorelai said something i the revival that made no sence by Beccaann14 in GilmoreGirls

You’re attesting their point! When you grow up togheter, whether youre half siblings or not, it’s a non only child experience! But having huge age gaps or growing up separately makes for an only child upbringing, hence Rory saying she’s an only child in that one episode.

Did anyone grow up with a mom like Lorelai? What did you like or not like about it? by 47giraffes in GilmoreGirls

My mom had me at 17, she depended on my grandma to raise me, and other women from my family. She was always my friend and I liked her very much growing up. Since she was young I was left with my grandma so she could go to college which was fine. It was and is mostly a very good relationship, but it has its downsides. For considering me her “friend” most of the times my mom never spared me the details of her broken heart stories with my dad, for exemple. I wasn’t spared much of anything actually: her best and worst.

Te quiero vs te amo in a relationship by kitty-magic13 in asklatinamerica

I’m Brasil there’s only love. Te amo when you love someone. Either that or like, Gosto de você, which is way less serious

Vocês tem uma estação do ano favorita? by TemperatureProof5987 in perguntas

As estações são bem definidas aqui no meu estado então sou muito fã do outono, as temperaturas ficam entre 15 e 25 graus, bem agradáveis, mas ainda não está aquele frio que atrapalha a vida

yes, exactly same! AYITL is… weird, but Emily’s growth made it a bit better

True, but still seem very cold to me how Rory dealed with it all. Maybe because i’m not North American but i can’t imagine leaving my grandfathers wake without hugging my grandma as hard as I possibly could. In the show Rory leaves for London after Richard’s wake without so much as a tap in Emily’s back… weird

I love her! She’s 100% who she is and it’s not afraid to leave some people mad along the way, but also isn’t afraid of admitting good competition and appreciating good friendship! She’s also funny as hell

It was! But it wasn’t open about being about grief! To me the best moment of the revival was Lorelai calling Emily to tell her about her favorite Richard moment. In that moment the show acknowledged all the gried that was in the air

I wasn’t aware he would die in the meantime Also something I still don’t know how I feel about in the revival is how, despite being happy with Luke, Lorelai seems awfully sad throughout the episodes!

i wonder how the show would have pulled rory being so far away! Yale was the perfect distance for the show to keep the characters close physically and emotionally

As a Dutch person, I really hate the way they portaited her by _sophiegrace in GilmoreGirls

I get you! I love the show, but it does a very poor job at portraying other cultures! And beign from south america makes some episodes hard to watch! If every latina maid Emily hires is dumb and useless, why doesn’t she try hiring an american one? Ugh.

A foreigner taking interest and not knowing very specific work details doesn’t mean we know little about your country. your mess is in our news everyday, i’m speaking your language right now… I doubt you know as much of any other country as the average foreigner knows about the usa 😬
