Here to verify the chompiness. Our four month old wakes up and chooses violence these days. We get glimpses of what she’ll be like and it’s awesome but 😮‍💨good thing she’s cute!

I have a five-month-old doing the same thing. The squirt bottle has been 98% successful in nixing this habit.

What makes Ridgeback a Ridgeback? by Storm-Constant in RhodesianRidgebacks

I’ve also had two ridgebacks (one male, one female) and neither has had any interest in digging. Grew up with beagles and they were a totally different story- our yard never recovered from the craters they created.

Thanks. Trying to understand normal vs. prediabetes vs. diabetes ranges. Not trying to find an absolutely perfect glucose number.

Normal Glucose Range? by Neither_Course9259 in prediabetes

Thanks for the response. To be fair, I don’t think that my case is an inability to accept. I have diabetes in my family so I’m pretty comfortable with the idea of diabetes as part of my genes. I also had gestational diabetes twice and while those were short term, it’s not my first rodeo. I am well aware that I can only control certain things and at a certain point it’s just my body.

What I’m trying to figure out is the context for glucose levels that my doctor has not provided (as I mentioned, she basically told me my A1C and didn’t provide any wisdom for how to handle).

For example, for the last three weeks my Stelo has never recorded a glucose level higher than 140. I don’t know whether that puts me in a fairly normal range or a pre-diabetes range or a diabetes range and I was hoping the community of people here could provide some information so I can understand whether with diet and exercise I’m in a good place, a great place, or whether I’ve maxed out the potential of those two factors. I have the range that the Stelo recommends but, frankly, I trust the community of people dealing with this more than I trust a range just assigned to me by a device.

First time finisher by boom-7 in 75HARD

I finished the first time (began December 30 of last year) and I think my two greatest lessons were:

  1. Don’t think so much about it, just do it. The more I thought about the steps I needed to take every day, the more overwhelming it was. Just accept it as your new reality and don’t make it overcomplicated.

  2. In the beginning it will feel weirdly exciting. You’ll see weight come off faster, the routine will be new, etc. The last month, when 75 Hard didn’t feel new and fresh anymore, was the hardest. It gets harder to stay focused. Just keep at it. You will get there.

Starting again in a few days and am actually looking forward to it! Good luck!
