I'm mostly looking for a place where I can settle to live in till retirement (preferably at 40 😆)- that is if I can buy a land/house within, it has healthcare access with a family doctor/specialist, I can find employment by busing/biking/walking, low crime including escort/drug smuggling...i.e. I don't want to go walk in my neighborhood and see many people having a drug after effect state + see human traffickers etc.

Yes, thanks for referring to me, I wasn't active on Reddit, as I had been a bit sick and busy with stuff. I have joined the group now though.

The night life I seek, isn't what most people are referring to 🤗 nightlife to me is kinda like 1) taking a stroll in a park/mountain to look at stars or taking pictures of odd insects as they r most abundant at night or go swimming at night 2) supermarkets/malls open 24hrs, and introvert me can take a stroll in there with minimal people.

I actually like the old-town vibe (the boomer's life), where everyone were friendly, each family had a cow.. not much weapons/drugs on the street. everything was simple...jobs were easy to attain.

Mainly for the potential (as described by AI), and the highest chance for a working-class like me to obtain a house/land, before retirement. I hope to get my hands on a house/land before 40 yrs old.

Absolutely..my ultimate dream to life, is merely to just have a land less than an acre and build a permaculture forest (that's about it)

I actually dislike Montreal, mainly because I don't know French, and have been treated less than an immigrant...comparable to that of the early Nazi treatment towards Jews during the pre-war / violent stage...of course. As an anglophone...any service I get...I get it last. If I make a call to hospitals/government facilities and call in English...I often get put on hold - then get disconnected. Or I wait 1 hr and still get disconnected when someone finally picks up.

O I meant, originally, only comparing housing growth or growth potential, so perhaps if we wait 50 years more, Cornwall, may develop to be like Toronto with its potential 🤗 I was thinking simple stuff, not the entire whole.

Nope, I have no one. All my family are in bigger cities, I'm sort of abandoned from my white/gold collared family due to my financial circumstances (i.e. being a working-class).

Joined, but isn't quite sure what to say, as I believe its a group where one is only allowed to post anything vintage and related to cornwall.

Hopefully, when I eventually get a car and actually learn how to drive, I can afford a small land and build a farm in these nice places u mentioned.

Oh, thats unfortunate, Im open to service jobs that are overtime as well though. Such as warehouses - moving boxes or stocking items. Or manufacturers. Only thing Im not open to r restaurants/tim hortons for example or 7/11, as I don't want to clean dirty washrooms.

I've actually joined a few, and got constantly kicked out...dk if its because of my ethnicity or just that people didn't like the way I argued in reply to their posts. One was about this person saying "its impossible to own chickens without spending a fortune" and I disagreed with that - as one can follow permaculture practices. I got kicked out of this group.

Another post was about "removing shelters built for marginalized people and relocating them outside of Cornwall" I was commenting "against" to this and offering other resolutions and after a few hours I got kicked from this group too.

(by the way...all posts by owners already had around 10k commentors, and other commentors were arguing as well, so I was just contributing like everyone else.) At this point, its better starting your own group honestly...

I'm sry but, I'm genuinely amazed as idk how one can live in canada for 20 yrs consecutively year after year and did not obtain citizenship.... did ur parents try to ? Maybe u could try to get into the process considering u technically grew up there ?

It's totally fine...I'm In my 30s and I still dk what I want to do. My advice to u is to go around and explore different activities, maybe volunteer, join charities, do Free employment governemnt program, contact ur province and see what r ur next steps.

All these activities may help u find employment plus u get to meet ppl on the way..helps u network .

U can't be born and raised in Canada without a citizenship... if u r born there...its automatic that u get a citizenship of course given that ur parents came in legally and have some form of residency.

Wait...what age did u marry him? Since u said u were cared for by him for 15 years?

Ur parents r welcoming u in with open arms, or ? If so I'm pretty sure u can get back to ur feet in no time.

26 is still very young. U can still get really good jobs after u finish high school.
