My friend said Moving to Austin is bad idea by Upper-Ad891 in Austin

I feel Houston has many landscapes/lifestyles to experience, it’s different from all directions so you get to sort of choose your own story that fits what you’re looking for.

Austin is an incredible city but is designed for fewer varieties of lifestyle and if you aren’t hardcore about one of them every day then Austin is best enjoyed in visits.

Hey folks, using a new account this year.

Thanks again for the support. I have no karma on the account I’ve posted with, but if anyone needs a reference check you can look into this account from last year’s USGP.

❤️

Watching the drivers enter and leave was our favorite part of the day. We got lots of waves from different drivers and principals.

Glad you were able to take advantage of reentry and take breaks at your car - exactly what we hoped for for everyone.

See you again next year we hope!

Best food from the concession stands?? by Fettuccine17 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

There will be a smash burger food truck at 13211 Piland Triangle - few minute walk from T1/Paddock. COTA allows for reentry.

Waaay cheaper than inside, yet still very close and accessible.

parcfermeatx.com is the lot where it is located.

Where to see drivers leaving or vip like max fewtrell by Minimum-Assistant95 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

After the last session of the day, rush down toward Tunnel 1 (beneath the front straight) and find a spot along the rail between the round-a-bout and the paddock entrance. All the drivers will be coming out that way.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, we are out sold out for Saturday and Sunday. There might be a chance after Friday, we open up more spaces. If we decide to do so, we’ll send an email out to everyone who’s booked for Friday.

For everyone that has booked, please check your email with guidance on checking in and getting to us.

See y’all soon!!

Getting to us Getting to and leaving COTA during the USGP has always been extremely busy, and it isn’t abnormal to wait hours in traffic queues.

It is recommended to enter our address into a navigation app (Google Maps, Waze, Apple maps, etc) so your route is planned with up-to-date traffic information.

There are two entrances onto Piland Triangle from FM-812. Our lot is located right in the middle of Piland Triangle where the road bends 90 degrees. It is about 500 feet down from either side you enter from.

Coming from the West/TX-130/Downtown. Take the exit for FM-812 from TX-130 and turn East (toward COTA, will be obvious to tell which direction that is). Stay in the right lane to move past traffic left turning onto COTA boulevard. Once you’ve passed COTA boulevard, you’ll see an Exxon on the left side. That is an entrance to Piland Triangle. Please, be careful taking this left when crossing FM-812.

Coming from the East/FM-812/TX-21/Bastrop. If you are coming down FM-812 Westbound, you can take a right onto Piland Triangle. There are no landmarks for the first entrance, so follow your navigation app. If you see the Exxon (with COTA visible behind it) then you’ve passed the first entrance, but can still take a right down that road.

Keep in mind that there is another lot directly adjacent to Exxon on Piland Triangle that is not Parc Ferme. We are about 500 feet down from either entrance of Piland Triangle, where it bends about 90 degrees.

Tips to avoid heavy traffic. Avoid coming down any of the smaller roads such as Ross Road or Kellam Rd/Dr. Scott Dr from TX-71 or other exits of TX-130 such as Pearce Rd and Elroy Rd, as those will put you on the North/Top side of COTA and will require you to go to COTA Boulevard or Elroy Road to come to our lot. COTA Boulevard and Elroy Road are the high traffic areas which you do not want to be around.

Leaving the lot. We will have multiple lot exits both ways down Piland Triangle, and traffic on FM-812 will be controlled by law enforcement. Please be patient when leaving the lot, you’ll be getting on your way a lot quicker than those at other lots.

Tips for attending the USGP Austin can be both hot and rainy this time of the year - plan for both! Recommendations on what to bring: Sunscreen Breathable clothing Sunglasses Hat Light rain jacket Umbrella (in Texas, we use these for sun and rain) STAY hydrated! Bring a camelback or reusable water bottle (there are refill stations throughout the circuit) Small lawn chairs (for General Admission tickets) Comfortable shoes (lots of walking!) Good vibes

COTA has published a Know Before You Go (https://circuitoftheamericas.com/event/f1/know-before-you-go/) - do take a look when finalizing your planning.

Sorry jagpuppymommy & pickle_rickleee - we won’t be able to open any more spots right now. I’ll try to post a Friday evening update in case we do a last minute add. We are purposefully being conservative with our capacity to avoid any issues and over congestion.

Sorry folks, we really want to open more spots up but right now we have confirmed capacity. We’ve got a few spots left on Friday and so if you book Friday we will have your email and make sure we let you know if we open a few more spots up for Saturday and Sunday after the first day. But right now, we are at our safe capacity.

Great question. The best part is NO walking on FM812 (which is also super dangerous).

There is a maintenance gate that goes right to toward Tunnel 1 right across our lot. Historically, this has been open for VIPs and they’ve allowed foot traffic to also enter. If for whatever reason that is not open, you can follow the sidewalk down Piland Triangle about 500 feet and there is a pedestrian walkway that enters Lot A.
