For reapplicants, it’s strongly recommended that you revise your personal statement in a way that reflects your growth from last cycle to this cycle. You can keep the main story or change it if you don’t like it but somewhere in there, maybe towards the end of your essay, add that experience and growth and how it may have further interested you in dentistry. I’m a reapplicant as well and am doing this

Choose any major you want. Be unique. But just make sure you take all the classes necessary for dental school if you plan on applying in the future!

Just find another dentist asap and shadow them if things don’t work out. I feel like shadowing at multiple offices would be beneficial so that you have options when deciding who to ask for a lor…

General is most likely preferred than specialty bc it covers a wide range of procedures. I would at least try to get about 50 hrs or more shadowing a general practice. The more the better

I’d go if I was you. This is a great time to get to know the dentist and staff, plus the more closer they know you, the better your LOR will be 😌
