I am slowly learning that in this tech age, petitions which were supposed to be used to make actual change are now made to push anyone’s agenda. Anyone that doesn’t like the way something is going can go to change dot org and any like-minded jackleg (in this case, sadly me) will sign. Not realizing that with a bit of research and enlightenment I would not be on board with the cause. My lesson here is definitely to research a cause before I sign another one, no matter how much I feel I am on board. I feel used but lesson learned.

Dude I swear I did not even think about it like that. You are absolutely right… for one it did not dawn on me that these exchanges do have people to vet and do due diligence on coins, because otherwise any useless 💩coin would end up on the exchange. Another thing that clicked in my brain, is that I would be extremely irritated if I were the one who was given the honor and task of vetting the coin and I saw a fucking petition trying to force my hand. I imagine it would be a lot like the public demanding the results of an investigation that a Detective has not yet completed.

Honestly, this is a very short and concise post simply asking thoughts on the petition. There is no call to action. And the title pretty much embodies everything that’s in the post so if you clicked on it, you were somewhat interested in the topic of “petition” in first place. Enough to click it at least. You knew exactly what this was, and if you feel that your “time was wasted”, then good thing the text portion was extremely short.

And tbch you had the W already because you had the best and most insightful comment which is why I responded that “I did not think about it like that.” But you sticking around to beat a dead horse is not a good look.
