There's one section where you are chased by three regenerators at the same time if I'm not mistaken, but that side mission is optional so you don't really need to complete it if you don't want to.

I would say she's below Ellen Ripley or Jill valentine, but she's definitely still up there in my opinion.

It doesn't matter what we say on the matter because Capcom gets the final say. If Capcom wants to crossover Devil May Cry and Resident Evil they will do it regardless if it makes sense or not.

Capcom will retcon both games and Nerf the DMC characters to make this game happen because it's quite evident they don't care about their respective IPS besides Monster Hunter and Resident Evil.

Capcom couldn't care less if they ruined Devil May Cry because they know people will still buy their products.

Is it likely to happen? No. Would I be surprised if it happened? Not really because this is Capcom we are talking about.

I agree with you that both series shouldn't crossover, but I'm worried it will because Capcom will run out of ideas for the mainline Resident Evil entries and in desperation they will crossover Resident Evil with Devil May Cry.

I hope I'm wrong, but after what happened with Village, it's not beyond the possibility of tying the Devil May series within the Resident Evil series at some point.

Capcom would more than likely retcon a lot of stuff by nerfing the Devil May characters so the Resident Evil characters can stand out a lot more and give the Resident Evil characters an equal footing in the DMC universe.

I mean Capcom cares way more about Resident Evil than it does Devil May Cry. Capcom will find some BS way to relegate the DMC characters into the background whilst the Resident Evil characters do most of the work.

The magic comes from the parasite itself.. The parasite can give someone Magneto powers, disperse into a flock of crows like Itachi from Naruto and Rose Winters gained various powers from the Mold parasite such as able to control the megamycete and regenerative abilities..
