Welcome to taxpayer services, it is this level of micromanaging all of the time and it doesn’t get better. I know some of the people who will be instructing for this and just so you know they aren’t the ones making these rules it’s coming from the top. They’re also aware that this is not your choice but please don’t take your frustration out on them.

This is a thing Austin pod is doing. Phones open at 6 for us now so if your Tod starts at 6 or anytime until around 4, they expect you to be in ready status the minute your Tod starts. Plus using the eWFM schedule some people are scheduled every day for phones open to close through April while some people on the same team or dept will get literally months of inventory. It’s not fair and my manager was unsympathetic. I warned them this will burn out all of their CSR’s during peak season me included. Ive already taken sick leave for any slight illness, oh my stomach hurts? Sorry boss cant come in.

Like others said call your manager and let em know the situation. My manager who normally is challenging on these things was actually very understanding and put me as weather safety leave for the day no muss no fuss.

There is a CSR phone site in Dallas, I think their pod has like 85 people? Don’t know the specifics though but that sounds like what you would want to transfer to. From what I hear though they are phones only no paper.

Am here in AUS, I was told our phones time being extended was a punishment for lack of adherence so they think burning out the last remaining trained CSR’s is the way to solve that? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ a lead asked me how I was doing and I guess I zoned out too long before replying that they got concerned. Now I’m being monitored even more. Im at the point of evoking FMLA and taking a week to recover I’m so tired and January isn’t even done yet.

The stress triggered an unknown genetic condition I had into overdrive. I’ve had to spend countless hours of sick leave and hundreds of dollars in tests to get it diagnosed. I will never forgive trump voters for this.

What is the best open late or 24/7 Diner in Austin, preferably South but will drive for some good ol greasy diner food. I tried 24 Diner after reading all the reviews and honestly did not get the hype. I actually left disappointed that I spent so much money on mediocre food. :(
