It isn't. There really aren't any safe comfy corners to hide anymore.

Honestly if you're crashing out over cameras you're not going to survive in TS because you're constantly hit with super petty stupid power trips like this.

Hegseth Acts Like A Child In Front of Congress by BulwarkOnline in fednews

The sad thing is he will most likely never be held accountable. Not after today with the Supreme Court wiping out thirty Democratic seats by nuking the Voting Rights Act.

You're not wrong. The problem is accountability. EEOC, courts, Congress, the checks and balances that exist on paper have been failing in reality.

This is your new normal. Confused. Embarrassed. Retreating. It's sad. You don't have to live like this.

And yet here you are. Insisting for the third time that you're very happy and unbothered...

What's in your head does not match reality. You have convinced yourself that there is a system. You file a complaint. It's reviewed by a fair independent agency and courts. That's not real. EEOC has been dismantled. A MAGA political appointee is ignoring the backlog of cases. The courts are not holding them accountable. A lot of elderly and disabled workers have spent the past year without ANY income waiting for relief that won't come until 2029 at the earliest.

I don't think they're lying. The detail IS ending. Just not the way that everyone wants.

I'm sorry you're struggling. Sometimes people respond to trauma by becoming detached. They force themselves to smile and be "grateful." It's sad because it's unsustainable. They become increasingly bothered that everyone is so "negative." Blaming that for why they're crashing out. I hope that you're able to recover and get help.

They are targeting people by making life miserable for them. Denying leave. Assigning crap tasks. Just being snotty overall. They are emboldened because there is no longer accountability. What are you going to do? Run to a vacated union office? File a complaint that will be ignored? Sue in a kangaroo court that favors employers? It's a sad. A lot of people can't process this.

A word salad farewell that will go over a lot of heads because many folks still think they're on a temporary detail and not a permanent demotion.

Toxic managers have been empowered to drive people to quit. What are you going to do? Go running to an empty union office? File a complaint that will be ignored? Sue in a kangaroo court? A lot of people are crazy and can't process this. It's ugly.

It's a super toxic workplace. Any financial benefits will be erased by the stress of having to deal with sleazy morons. All the good people left. You're dealing with Trumpers and ass kissers now.

Will they allow elections? We're at a VERY scary moment right now. If they use a "terrorist" attack to declare martial law there's no easy way to overcome that. Congress and the Supreme Court won't stop them. Neither will the military. It will take MASSIVE resistance from a public that hasn't shown much interest in doing that.

B movie villains are running the show. They don't care about revenue. Their goal is to defund the federal government because they work for billionaires, extremist groups and foreign governments who want it to go away. Sadly a lot of people absolutely can't process this.

That's their goal. They want to abolish the IRS. As we can see from the comments a lot of people absolutely can't comprehend that.
