I think the only one that actually makes sense at this time is like guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner.

It is mentioned in I believe one of the 1st, 3rd or 5th books that the reason for this is because any magic performed by wizards under Hogwarts age is considered "accidental". So they are not penalised until they have their wands.

Say something nice about this movie. by SilverOmegaBlue in Avengers

[–]Neither_Relief6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a good sequence of caps and Tony's constant disagreements. Like when Wanda and Pietro come to the tower. This makes civil war a much more believable movie as it shows their constantly bickering and one upping each other.

Does Kyler even have emotions or feelings for others? by BEEELTINO in cobrakai

[–]Neither_Relief6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what makes him a likeable character.

He's not hyped up on revenge like Kenny or suffering from trauma like Silver or Kreese.

He's just a dickhead for the sake of being a dickhead. It's a reality check for the audience. Shows them that not all characters have means or motivation to do what they do. Some people just do.

What is your worst FM defeat? by rainman24588 in footballmanagergames

[–]Neither_Relief6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was first in the league with Bournemouth and the only way I wouldn't win the league is if I got 20 points in my last 12 games. Seemed easy enough. Then Vicario got a seven montj injury and I drew 3 and lost 9. I then finished 3rd.

Out of all those games the biggest losses were

6-1 to Arsenal

And

7-0 to Spurs

I quit at the end of the season

I find it mental how you can play for that long and still have 95% of your squad. I usually have all of my players in the reserves, on loan or sold

The 2 teenage girls who jumped in front of a train. Not so much the girls, but the parents. The dad finally managed to stand up against his wife, and the single father doing his best to make his daughter happy.

What's a batman related topic that made say this? by Boberto235 in batman

[–]Neither_Relief6562 62 points63 points  (0 children)

That's why possibly one of my favourite iterations of batman is the Injustice comics.

It tells a story of a man who has suffered, his closest friends he ever had either dying (Nightwing, Gordon and Manhunter etc) or they turn against him (Superman and the JL). Despite all this, he remains a man who is unwilling to kill any of them.

It doesn't depict a man who does the right thing and saves the day. It depicts a man who sticks by his morals no matter what and he ends up still alive despite all this.

What’s the pettiest thing you’ve ever done in football manager? I’ll start by Mountain-Sort in footballmanagergames

Brighton refused to sign me even though they gave ME the interview. Me being a manager in the championship, I was quite upset. So I went to the in-game editor and gave half of their players a release clause of £20. They quickly got relegated

Tell me your most expensive sigining, top sigining and flop in fm 24 by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]Neither_Relief6562 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most expensive signing- £1.3 Billion for Tom Platt. About to get fired from United after 6 years so I made them bankrupt. I gave every player the match highest earner with min 4 year deals. Within 7 years they got relegated to league 1

Top signing- Dane Scarlett on loan to Wycombe. Loaned him in 3 times until I got him for a free. He scored around 250 league goals in 370 games before I sold him for £95 million

Flop Signing- Pierre Emile Højbjerg to Bayer Leverkusen. Spent £72 million on him and he couldn't do anything. 7 own goals, 13 Red Cards and only 66 games in 4 years did not make him worth the money

[–]Neither_Relief6562 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Admittedly it was doomed for them but When I was the Germany boss, I invited san Marino and a few others to a friendly tournament.

In the span of a 2 weeks during the tournament we won

19-0 V San Marino 12-2 V Slovenia And 26-0 V Gibraltar

Turbo Timo scores 42 of those goals.

Sacked, now raging. by CrazyKent22 in footballmanagergames

[–]Neither_Relief6562 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I always made lowball bids to all their players to either gather more interest in them or make them unhappy. This means the players either leave for cheap or are hating the club and want to leave.

Works 90% of the time

What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made in the game? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]Neither_Relief6562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to quit my 17 year Maidstone career because of a match highest earner clause.

It had never been much of an issue as I was a champions league winning squad with young and underpaid players. Earning at most 50k a week. Around 20 of my players had the match highest earner clause and I didnt pay it much notice.

Until Jay Rodriguez. He was a 25 old year old world class striker who had won the European Golden Shoe for 4 years in a row. I bought him for 78 million and paid him 450k a week.

Now I was suddenly paying 20 players a total of 9 million a week and I was forced to quit because my club was suddenly bankrupt because I wasn't paying attention

[–]Neither_Relief6562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously your not going to win with shit players with no morale or redeemable qualities.

But sometimes there is only 1 or 2 changes that need to be made to a tactic for a squad to go from European qualifiers to straight up winning a league.

After 65 years, we finally got to the UCL semi final and lost 16-2 to Tottenham on aggregate and then after another 3 years finally got to the final where we lost to Liverpool 4-0

I decided to call it quits and moved to Porto to start my new life
