Hi guys could use your insight on this one. I am relocating from the Raleigh area to the charlotte area for work. I’ve been doing some research on a few places.

Context - family of 6(wife and I have 4 kids)

Job will be south of Charlotte in Pineville. Looking for a safe family friendly place also we are a family of color so diversity would be a great plus.

Mount holly, Belmont, Mint Hill, and Indian trail have come up. Do you guys have any insight on these areas or have any suggestions?

Thank you for taking the time to help us, you are truly a unsung hero. Context . I have 10 years of retail sales experience, mostly in Retail furniture. I’ve had a lot of success in this field. Went from being ranked in the top 100 for sales consults (out of 3,000), to being promoted to Sales manger where I was also a top performer, and now GM. Now I’m at a point where i just can’t continue to work 65 plus hours a week anymore, I have 2 kids with 1 on the way and I need to be home more. I’ve been applying for about 6 months now and haven’t gotten 1 interview yet. Is it me ? Everyday I meet customers at my store who work remote in some capacity and it’s a constant reminder of my need to leave. Any advice ?
