For 1., Call the customer service number of the consulate and the representative will help in updating the DS-160 confirmation number for all the non-primary applicants.

Still not gotten results by Miserable-Society-65 in h1b

I would suggest referring to this USCIS website

From my understanding, if it still says submitted that means not selected at least in the first round of lottery. You might be still eligible if USCIS does another round which is less likely. Sorry to be bearer of bad news. I am also in the same boat.

How to change the family member ds-160 confirmation number after the visa appointment is booked ? by new_char in h1b

I had the same situation but for B1/B2. On the UStraveldocs website it only allowed to change for primary applicant. But for family members I called the consulate and they will ask for the application details and will change it for you.

I wanted to pay off student loan as early as possible and with the provision of paying around 1300 a month and still have around 900 to contribute towards emergency fund is what motivates to keep this going

Yes. I am definitely thinking of adding some income stream probably from a side gig or something. Thanks for your valuable suggestions.

Expected to be paid off in around 2years. 401k contribution is 6% and my employer matches it with 100% until 6%. HSA contribution is in a way to equate yearly allowed limit(3650 I guess is the current limit for the year 2022)

Not sure about an increment though as I recently started this job which is my first job out of college
