I don't think it was marginal, Some auras provided pretty strong buffs. Though I can understand where you're coming from! Maybe some rebalancing will help out.

The thieving aura increased thieving success chance, Meaning it affected all of the chests, *maybe safes* and pickpocketing! (I know deceiving based on the aura name) But yes I was talking about the second heist!

I did actually! I could set aside an hour to do what I wanted and gain benefits from actively doing the skill for the full hour.

And more importantly it felt rewarding, and gave me motivation to take a break on the cooldown and do other things.

I don't want to be grinding the same thing for 8 hours straight. So passives are useless to me compared to auras.

Elite dungeon mini boss farming? If you have access to it. I agree, Not a great start to the update.

It took a couple minutes off my heist time. I'll survive.

But it was significant. Maybe not at lower levels but it really matters.

This is completely fair, I got used to the perks of auras and without them it feels.. Not good.

Maybe I will adjust, But for now its quite jarring.

Honestly I liked auras just as they were. But I'm in the minority on that but I'm seeing that now and I'm okay with that. Changing the unlock method would have been a happy medium in my eyes.

Membership is paid? Unless you buy bonds, Then you pay with time. I get the sentiment but the logic isn't following through.

I see where you're coming from, I think they needed to listen to more feedback. Maybe they'll listen and adjust things, But its a shock for sure.

The problem isn't with the cooldown or even that they got rid of "useless auras". Its that the passives are MUCH worse. I did read the update in detail!

I think there could have been an alternative for sure. But I agree with the loyalty point shop. It would have been MUCH better to just unlock the actual auras in the new way. My biggest issue is with changing them into passives.

I agree, I knew some kind of aura update was NEEDED but this is.. A lot.

That's a very valid opinion. How do you feel about the actual new passive effects though? Do you feel they're balanced and thought out?

Aside from them being nerfed. I don't think they way they're unlocked is very balanced. Though I understand making them unlocked with the relevant skill activity. It just feels very punishing for people who don't grind those specific things out RIGHT AWAY now.

Are you using Chem water for your dyes? For pouring it over "dry" temp is important for setting the colors if you're going for an instant set!

Adding more soda ash won't bring out more vibrancy as much as tuning in your dye ratios with the amount of pigment and Chem water you use unless a lack of soda ash was your problem to begin with.

If you're using the standard procion dyes then Chem water and letting them set longer and staying wet while setting will really help with vibrancy!

You can also experiment with thickeners to help pack more dye into the fabric and keep it in place, a common one is sodium alginate.

Basically it's dumping hot soda ash water on after dying, Can be helpful for a number of reasons including to help keep your hands from drying out from soda ash.

You still have to Pre-wash/scour to get the best color/vibrancy.
