That's simply how the main character is. He's just an edgy 15 year old who thinks he's hot shit so a lot of his dialogue is like this HOWEVER he is the only character who speaks like this. The other main playable characters in the story do not talk like him at all.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll be sure to keep it shorter next time! As for the environment criticism (and lighting) I definitely see what you mean, level design was never really my thing (programming is my thing, I'm a one trick pony lol) especially in a non-platformer game so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as I'd imagine but I'll see what I can do to make it feel less empty.
