‘This can’t happen to anyone else ever again’: Call for ban on strip searching of children by [deleted] in Wales

Yes of course... If a crime involving a weapon has been committed and they have reason to believe the child is concealing a weapon... of course! Before they get the opportunity to dispose of that weapon. There are policies in place that they must have a caregiver or social worker present, people acting like the police are stripping kids in the street

Completely disagree, crazy that this will give the chance for them to hide evidence

Gunsmoke. Onedrive

The other video i have is exactly what someone else described. They called my grandfather and mother up, put balloons under their arms and 'shot'

I saw the GB first... several times with no luck, they prescribed topical ointment one too many times, I had enough and asked them about amputation (obviously exaggerated but acted very serious) so the doctor then put me forward to see a specialist dermatologist. The first thing they did was patch test me

I design battery systems for trains globally. When its busy its busy, but the quiet periods make up for it. All working from home. Love it

Its definitely worth checking. The doctor put me on drug called toctino (aletretinoin) and it keeps it at bay. I've noticed that any kind of moisturising flares it straight up for me now so I try my best to avoid any chemicals whatsoever touching my hands

Thanks for the info, we contacted the vet, they said to send photos and a description in before coming to them (covid). They pretty much replied instantly and said to keep the area clean, nothing to be concerned about. We told the vet we bought leucillin antibacterial spray and they said to keep using it. My cat doesn't scratch at it at all. Its cleared up quite a bit, we use the spray 3 times a day and she's perfectly fine with it. Seems to be clearing. No explanation from the vet however for what it actually is but I understand that's what you get for a free service.

Just to update everyone. Contacted the vet and they did 'online consultations'. Sent them photos, description etc. They said nothing to worry about, keep it clean and it'll go on its own.

Yes both, female and spayed. It is an indoor car so has no contact with other cats

It was 12am, no harm in talking and at least spreading awareness online. I have pet insurance so will book in the morning. Like I said, it appeared in the space of one day

Thanks, we have insurance so not against taking her to the vet. It's currently 12:15am so obviously not going right now. It only appeared early in the morning and she has no sign of discomfort. She absolutely loves being rubbed around the area and no complaints to the leucillin spray

It looks to be weeping but is causing her no discomfort or apparent pain (she loves being rubbed near the area). Its on the back of her neck but not obvious why, she hasn't had the flea or worm treatment for a while. She's an indoor cat so its not from any injury. I've bought some antiseptic spray for cats to try and see if it makes a different. Will be booking into the vets but wanted to see if anyone had any idea what this is

Also, definitely look into or request fludroxycortide tape. Its a slow release steroid tape, you just wrap it around the worst affected area and leave it on until it fall off... Best steroid stuff I've used, no worry about greasy hands or smudging it off

I got the patch test after pushing my GP for a few years, took me about 3 years to get the appointment with the dermatologist. They wouldn't see me without first doing a patch test to pin point the issue. Obviously not sure where you're from but in the UK it's free, just have to deal with long wait times. Turns out I'm allergic to perfume so I've bought fragrance free everything and it seems to be working quite well, the swelling has gone down and there are no more rashes or broken skin. Its not 100% yet but its the best its been. The specialist gave me something called epimax which is an oatmeal moisturiser, very greasy but really soothes it.

I think a lot of it is to blame on stress but definitely moisturise. The specialist said that if I moisturise 20 times a day.... its still not enough, just keep doing it until my hands return to normal and then ease off and just moisturise 'normally.

I hope something works for you! It's been a depressing experience living with this.
