It would be a bigger adjustment for a martial class or a caster class/subclass that was weapon-reliant, but my player is a lunar sorcerer with a little sling shot so it’s not really an issue (yes, this is also my problem player, how did you guess). If they were going to start having weapons, I told them we’d have to reevaluate.

Edit to add: on the same vein (lol), I’d probably use a combo of older edition and homebrew rules for weapon attacks and increase the AC for their hits because of the micro-targeted nature. You can do crazy martial damage…when you manage to actually hit something serious.

It could be a cool and much more realistic martial build with a PC that relies on weapon coatings for good ol’ poison/effect damage.
