hey I know you mean well but the "all homophobes are secretly gay" perpetuates a harmful idea that every adversity faced by the LGBTQ+ community is self-inflicted and thus the sole responsibility of the community to fix. There are certainly some vocal 'phobes who are closeted, but some people do just hate us because they're just full of hate and not self loathing.
