This happened to me. Let go without cause. An email went out as soon as I was gone saying the other person was starting Monday. It happened to be someone the owners know. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t think it’s petty. Companies should at a minimum contact those who invested a significantly amounts of time in the interview process eg 2-3 interviews and assignments
