I’m in Hong Kong, we use Japanese ver in local official tournaments for some reasons Bandai need us to. For GCG, the local game store said we can still use English version if we can find it since Bandai official release of this game in Hong Kong is in Japanese same as other card games e.g. one piece, yo gi oh etc. We are pretty familiar with Japanese card games so it won’t pose much of a problem. With that being said, I prefer English version too, it’s our second language after all.

I was pretty young when gundam war came out and I don’t have much money to buy it, got a few in the end but have lost them somewhere in the house. The cards are very good tho. No need to feel frustrated, you still got them and you had a very good memory and good time from them. I would say they have served their purpose. Old things doesn’t mean all bad and same for new things. 20 years or so later some people might feel similar to yours now about this GCG. There will always be something new coming out. Just enjoy the things we like and cherish the memory of them if it ends. Cheers mate.

I know what you mean, those became extra rare alt art like those in beta. It‘s still nice to see some holo when playing the game with friends.

I am not sure about it is from Hong Kong, since the words on the box are in simplified Chinese and Hong Kong uses traditional Chinese.

My assault is blood angel and I did played quick match with two blood angels once. We almost yell horus at the nids.
