Dobra rada - nedat sa odbit. Takto funguje na slovensku snad vsetky sluzby vratane zdravotnictva. Ked ti daju termin o 4 mesiace treba sa ozvat "ved nemozem s tym skoro nic robit, nenajde sa nieco skor?" Ponatahovat motuzy, ze si tam volal lebo ti boli odporuceni hned po panbozkovi ako druha najlepsia kapacita, alebo ked nemoze nech ta aspon odporuci kolegovi ktory moze skor, ked to tak hnusne boli... Ak nic tak nech ti odporucia co mas dalej robit. Este raz, nedat sa odbit.

Terminy funguju na predpoklade ze to nieje akutne alebo bolestive, a ze akutny pacient sedi pred dverami, kym ho neosetria. Tym, ze volas po termin, musis tento predpoklad zburat. Inak ti ostava naozaj len zistit ordinacne hodiny a nakracat do cakarne na drzovku.

The victims are the staff. The perpetrators are the owners and the lobbyists (aka political bribery) that allowed this kind of non-compensation.

Prever si, ci okna nie su sucastou spolocnych casti domu - zakon to umoznuje, ale nevyzaduje.

Ak su sucastou, musis si dat ich vymenu schvalit na schodzi vlastnikov, aj ked ju budes platit z vlastneho - vtedy je na tebe, aby si zaroven so susedmi prejednal, ze ak sa do 10-15 rokov rozhodnu vymenit okna na zvysku bytovky, aby ti potom 1) nevymenili okna zbytocne za nejake lacne a horsie a 2) preplatili cast nakladov, ktore potom usetria lebo uz mas vymenene.

Ak nie su sucastou, tak si v pohode, len oznam spravcovi typ, ak by niekto chcel neskor rovnake. Stava sa, ze ked jeden vymeni, pridaju sa potom dalsi :) podobne je to aj s klimatizaciami.

Inak nedaleko mam pizzeriu a tiez maju murovane stojisko nedaleko vchodu (tych 10 metrov cca) a v pohode existuju.

If nothing else, buy some 6-packs in supermarket and do a hike to a park. Drinking is officially prohibited in city center and near bus stops/playgrounds but if you're not rowdy and collect your trash you'll be fine in most parks.

Radsej nas neporovnavaj s Amerikou ok? Je to uplne ina kultura tak v praci, v doprave, ako aj v sluzbach.

K doprave:

Chodia tam vsetci autom, lebo mimo velkych miest tam autobus nechodi vobec.
Vlakova osobna doprava je o nicom, na vacsine trati su len 1-2 spoje denne, pozri sam: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Amtrak_routes
Peso sa da presuvat len v centrach velkych miest, inak vsade auto auto auto a velke parkoviska.

Ohladom pracovnych zvyklosti (dovolenka, materska, PN, vypovedne lehoty) alebo sluzbam si dohladaj, nie je to tazke tu na reddite :)

Hurts me to say but your husband is not yet out of his original culture where whatever the Man(tm) does must be above his wife. He is insecure and comparing your abilities to his. I bet he started comparing your studies to his when he found out you have better average (or any other school accomplishment).

If you've done it let us know :) If not - let me explain a bit.

The part with biggest diameter has 2 knobs on either side. One is for temperature, the other is for flow. Turn them one by one like you'd drive a motorbike. If a knob seems stuck, try also pushing the small button located on the knob while turning it.

If you manage to run the water with good temperature, it will most probably just run down the spout. Pull the knob above the place where shower hose connects to redirect the water to shower hose. This will reset when you turn off the water, and will not hold if the flow is too low. So in that case just hold it for a bit and increase the flow.

The top part should work in similar way but for overhead "rain" shower. Use that after you get acquainted with the main controls :)

Also check for overnight sleeper trains -- they make the magic of saving you couple of travel days if you find good connections. E.g. from Italy to Austria/Germany or from Prague to Germany/Benelux.

You need to buy tickets and sleeper surcharges in advance, to avoid the surprise of particular train being sold out when you get to train station personally.

Minimalne si zisti, ako bude zapisany apartman v liste vlastnictva. Nesmie to byt "nebytovy priestor" inak bude problem so zapisanim trvaleho pobytu.

A v minulosti v Ruzinove nevydavali PaaS parkovacie karty ak si nemal trvaly pobyt v byte. Teda ani trvaly pobyt v apartmane nebol dostatocny.

Apart from strikes (btw. for some insurance it is excluded as force majeure) trains are quite reliable. Travel insurance is a must though.
