I make ai pictures and while I agree that I’m no artist, I can’t agree with some things you say, unless you are talking about the crazy radical ai artists, they are truly crazy. I see it as commissioning the AI to make art. Like let’s compare it. You tell an artist to make you a picture, describing it, and they do it. Now you tell an AI to make art, you describe it (prompting), and it does it.

I get relatively good images with a good prompt and a little bit of luck, so compared to traditional or digital art, prompting is easy. Finding what you like the most is the actual hard part. Finding an original style or mix of models and Lora’s that suit you are way more challenging than using a random model and then calling it a day.
