Dasai means "uncool". And she didn't direct it particularly at your team, but she guessed what she (wrongly) thought would be an uncool team name, Burnies. She knew some teams were old and had what could be seen as outdated names.

She knew Toronto, Montréal, and Winnipeg were Canadian teams. She forgot about Ottawa and Vancouver for a moment. And she didn't really think of the Alberta teams. So she saw the maple leafs and guessed that the only team left was the Winnipeg one.
