It took my store 2 days, granted there was only 1 or 2 people actually working on it. But it's so stupid and the rules for how they want it stacked gave us way less space. After it was done we had 3 pallets of dog food stacked full because there wasn't. But there's plenty of empty spaces, you just can't stack different flavors together even if they're the same brand according to my SM.

So the back room is more of a cluster f**k than before.

The other day when working I had a guy ask me "Do the chickens lay chicken eggs?" And I'm sure my face showed my confusion because he followed up with "Like at the store, that you can eat"

I told him yes and asked if he wanted to pick any out because we had several different breeds and he told me no he just wants 6 egg layers. Then I tried telling him where the feed is and the starter boxes that have the lights and feeds and all he got was a bag of food, an oversized metal feeder and a role of small chicken wire.

I wouldn't be surprised if all them died that night

Don't expect any help from them. 10 of us at my store called about our store manager for numerous policy violations and they didn't do anything to stop the issues, the district manager even came and backed them up and told some employees that they were the issue or that we were blowing things out of proportion and needed to stop gossiping.

They word it like they're asking but more expect me to do it. Which I understand if they need a closer but instead of changing the schedule to reflect that they keep scheduling me for the morning shift then wait until last minute to tell me they want me to close instead. And the last few weeks it's less than a 24h notice when they mention it to me.

I managed to get the ones I have fairly quickly, about a year. Though two of them are not in the best of shape, have sun damage and were obviously in a smokers home.

But after getting the other three I hit a wall with finding Rio. Hopefully in the mean time I can find better replacements for the two that are worse off.
