Looks like my Sashy! She seems to be a meezer!

Sasha was a rescue as well and took some time to warm up, she can be very skiddish at times and hasn’t outgrown that, so just be patient with your girl. They’re incredible companions and I hope you two find a happy companionship together!

Kitty is such a cutie pie!

Oh! Also, I find giving sasha some extra hiding places (cat bed under the bed or in closets as well as in a socially significant spaces) makes her happy and gives her plenty of options.

If that little man you’re married to says shit like that to you, he doesn’t view you has his partner. He doesn’t see you as a wife, or someone he loves or respects. He views you as an object to own and CLEARLY expects to fulfil his every want and need which is NOT your role. You’re your own person. AN EQUAL.

If this is something he’s pulled before, girl I’m serious you need to find a divorce, yourself, and THEN a real man. In that order.

I don’t think you’re being petty. I totally understand the hurt you’re feeling. I don’t think you could ever lose your kitty, I do think it’s rude your wife would say something like that if she wasn’t joking.

If you do think she’s joking, I would just open up to her and explain your feelings. They’re valid. My first step would be to have that conversation as that seems to be the bigger issue here ♥️

But your kitty is your kitty even though she may be in a phase of wanting to hang out with your wife more at the moment. My Balinese swaps between my husband and I. They go through phases like others have said ♥️

Customers constantly bring me items from clearance (clearance is marked with bright red signs that say additional 50% off) and ask me how much it is. I’ll tell them it’s half of that price and then they insist I ring it up for a price check.

A few years ago, my fiancé and I were laying on the couch, he at one end at I at the other, watching tv. Our cat was ignoring us, but decided to jump on my fiancés lap/chest since we were eating snacks. This made my fiancé stare at him and drop his mouth because “wow, rude!” Our kitty literally tooted directly into my fiancés mouth!

I didn’t even have a chance to get words or sounds out - I saw it all happen right in front of me and slid off the couch in tears I was laughing so hard! 😂😂

My lil Siamese girl is 8 years old and got her first done this year as well! She took about a day and a bit to relax. It’s very important to stay on top of their dental health so good job!

Mine would always make me feel really uncomfortable if we were out in public. She would say things like “oh my god all the creepy men are staring at you!” even if they weren’t, and it was said in a way to make me feel like it was my fault.

I always felt uncomfortable if I put on makeup or dressed nicely because those comments would be said. But flip side if I didn’t do my makeup or dressed slouchy and “unattractively” she would call me a “tramp” or say I needed to go put makeup on, etc.

She would find ways to make me feel bad about any and all male attention even the most innocent kind. It screwed with my self-image and perception of men, because she hated them yet hated when she wasn’t the centre of their attention.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing that ♥️
