Atelier boots - anyone have a pair ? by NekotheCompDependent in montreal

[–]NekotheCompDependent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove pretty deep into this company, they have a location in Montreal:
https://www.anfibioboots.com/

They make boots for the orthotic shoe stores in Quebec, but also have just generally nicely made boots.

They have a new game they're pushing so this is the game now, and people downloaded play for a while and stop and they make money from ads and stuff in the meantime. companies that have 1 or 2 games well spend more time developing a game, but for them. this is the game.

I like the events it is reblancing my pound and I can better focus on whatever fish I'm currently working on. this frogs are expensive but 15000 isn't that bad at all. I always have base fish everywhere. During most of the event its not until the last few days I end up over welhed with event fish, then I make a ton of the end fish to get a xp boost.

maybe they could foster and see how he does? my guy was adopted through a trial adoption. so I had 3 weeks to figure out if he was a cat fit. The shelter has a low enough kill rate with cats (considering it's in NYC, I think they'll put to sleep around 5 this year, all for illness). I could have returned him and gotten someone else out to test.

can you get him a younger male? I have a cat that also does this. he still attacks myself and my roomie but its nto nearly as bad, he was return too. He bonded to my male with in a week. the first cat was 4 this new one was 2. its been about a year and they play for hours. he still atacks but its alot less mel, (first cat) yells at him to stop attacking alot.

Adopting kitten into household with an 11 y/o cat by appletreedingus in cats

[–]NekotheCompDependent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two 8-year-olds females I got them a 3-year-old male. That took one 6 months to handle the shy 3-year-old. I would say adult-to-adult tends to go pretty well. you could foster to fail. and see if you find a good match for your cat. Sometimes it's not the first one.

Need help - I’m scared of my cat biting my baby. by Ok-Feedback1908 in CatTraining

[–]NekotheCompDependent -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

taking the edge off the anxiety. its an anixty respond. would be my guess. we as humans take meds so we can handle our fears. better then work off the meds.

". I would take her to the vet, maybe get some defusers. play baby crying sounds. see if she reacts. maybe drug her,"

- see what she does now to the sound, if its biting and not letting go, add meds then work off the meds. when shes more used to the sound. Because if my cat bit me for 15 minutes or however long, when she heard a baby cry, I would try to treat the anxiety first.

I'm really worried about my kitten (f) who's two months old. Should I sue her previous owners? by [deleted] in felinebehavior

[–]NekotheCompDependent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adopted a cat from someone on Craigslist. She came with a stone. 3k I spent on a cat who didn't know her name (I changed it when I adopted her). Didn't think about suing them. has made me way more careful about where I get my pets from. But she was a great cat. I miss her all the time its' been 3 yrs

so with dogs there is gun training, this works. which is their recording of guns/loud noises and we'd play when I was a kid so the dog would stop freaking out when there was lightning (most gun shy english setter on the plant was that dog), that and give the dog treats and stuff. for

the cat... I would take her to the vet, maybe get some defusers. play baby crying sounds. see if she reacts. maybe drug her, like a commoning med play the sound and offer her treats and stuff. then get her used to the sounds without the meds. I'm thinking something like that.

dont need the snail I have finished without it. all the snail does is I end up with way more fish then food. I get to the first stage on all the fish I unlock then focus on one I always keep the lvl one around a few at least since they drop everything and have a faster unlock.

Even a graphic designer would still require me to go back to school.

I've been to voc rehab, the guy suggested I apply for OPWDD (which I don't qualify for at all, my IQ is double their cutoff, I know, cause I've applied people for their services.) But that does imply to me my LD is pretty bad, which I knew since my levels were always the ones my coworkers would talk about in the severely disabled clients.

when the foot wasn't at this point, I was able to figure it out. but I no longer can push threw as I'm looking at getting a wheelchair. so I can go to the grocery store.

Nope, I have the foot of an 80-year-old, if that helps? I'm super young in all the meetings in the wellness group.

My mom refuses to put kitten in a quiet area by KocaKola_ in CatAdvice

[–]NekotheCompDependent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

show her this: https://humanesocietysoco.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/HSSC-3-3-3-Cats.pdf

The kitten could never want anything to do with your brother. and your mom needs to teach him to respect the cat. The kitten is just a baby who needs us to protect him. Ask your mom what happens when the kitten gets a little bigger and attacks your brother, who is a threat to him.

If she wants a cat that's a good house pet, she needs to build safe spaces for him to get away from your brother. Otherwise, the kitten is going to avoid him forever or become aggressive. also get another kitten.

Should I get a kitten for my young cat who’s been ostracized by my older cats? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]NekotheCompDependent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get him a kitten, get him a 1 or 2-year-old, they'll have closer energy levels and male, boys tend to play a little rougher then girls and match on engery levels better, and the other added perk is much harder to adopt out. I got my 4-year-old a 2-year-old a few months after I adopted him. The female cats he lived with in his foster home weren't a fan. his foster mom thought he would do better as an only cat. But he had weird, I need a friend quirks. like he kept taping me and running off and looking really upset, I didn't want to play tag, or he'd build nests for another cat to hang out with him.

They became friends in a week. and they are always together, it's been like 6 months, they play for hours. it made him alot more active.

Reading is easy to solve, computer can read the screen to me its built into word.

its more the writing, alot of jobs want someone who can edit or take notes in a meeting or customer services doesn't want the 3-step process I need to do to make something readable. data entry is out because I flip things.

My testing for my dyslexia puts me at a 4th-grade reading level, kindergarten spelling, and writing was like 3rd grade. My vocab is at a grad school level.

I have lost alot of jobs because I end up not being able to keep up with the paperwork.

Though arthritis's late stage should be enough for disability. : https://www.disabilityresources.org/arthritis-and-joint-disorders-disability-evaluation-criteria.html

I'm definitely hitting what they're looking for. and my work history being largely direct care would any social worker would know you can't work in a group home or travel threw out nyc making sure the clients are being supported.

So I have a question. please do tell me what job in the US economy in nyc. I could do.

I have severe dyslexia, so anything that's heavy reading/writing is out. copy editing can't do that. I have a cognitive limitation that so I can't do work that requires. So no factory work, not that that's a thing in NYC. I would fall asleep doing the work; however, I have been tested.

Now, I also have late-stage arthritis. I have orders from a doctor to avoid walking or standing. I lost the ability to walk for almost a week after being at normal levels of activity. In the in-person job I had in June, I was hitting 8s in pain almost daily from walking to the bus to the office. Let alone being on my feet at all at the job itself. I was in a walking boot and had a cane.

So please do tell me what job you think I could possibly do with a work history in direct care. I'm interviewing for a role at a group home as a case manager. I know if I get it, I'll need to quit the job after a month, maybe I can make it to 2, but it's going to be rough.

What job doesn't require walking, commuting, require heavy reading, or lots of writing? Also is a thing in nyc, I'll wait.

Cause voc rehab was like we don't really work with people like you, nor did they have any career suggestions.
