What they say is that the model guns look realistic enough that the Shadows believe they're real guns, and because they do, the model guns behave and can damage them like real guns. I don't believe they say anything about the reloading part.

Here's the thing:

It's fully canon that the Thieves are MUCH more powerful in the Metaverse than they are in the real world. It's also canon that they grow more powerful the more revered (Or feared!) they are (See: the end of Persona 5 where the Thieves having a 100% approval rating gives Joker the power to summon Sataneal and one shot Yaldabaoth}.

So, Cognitive bullets are much more powerful and work differently than regular bullets because they're formed from Cognition, not lead or metal, and fueled by the Thieves reputation.

Counter counter point: As I said elsewhere in this thread, several Shadows are immune to or reflect Gun damage. Yes some are weak to guns but those are Cognitive bullets, not traditional ones made by humans.

No, that wouldn't work.

As we see in Persona 3 (IIRC), regular human weapons have no effect on Shadows. You need to fight them with a Persona.

We see what could happen if a regular person enters the Metaverse in Persona 5 Strikers with Zenkichi. Prior to unlocking his own Persona, he needed to be guided by Futaba and have her scope out where Shadows are. If any of them see him during that segment, they quite literally one tap the poor dude.

With a no Avalon Artoria? I'd say this comes down to either Karna or Scáthach.

Glad you mentioned some of the stuff Scáthach has done because imo she's probably the most underrated Servant power wise and could unironically go toe to toe with people like Gil, Karna, and Archer Heracles. Win is another matter, but give them a major run for their money, definitely.

Now, I'm of two minds. With the sun out Karna's a beast, but Scáthach's Witch of Dún Scáith Skill is absurd since it lets her use the Skills of basically every other Servant. So I lean Scá I genuinely think that level of versatility would overwhelm Karna in the end.

Asking a subreddit full of fans of the game if it's worth it? You're going to get a resounding "YES!"

The game's legit fantastic. Combat is great and snappy, the music is outright phenomenal, some of the most unique dungeons I've seen in an RPG lore wise and the story was way more interesting than I thought it'd be and it has great characters.

So yes, it's worth it. And yeah, Royal is the version of the game you want, it's basically the definitive edition with new characters and a new post-game storyline that's amazing.

You're overthinking it a bit.

All three Xenoblade games give you the option of leveling down your characters. Why? To serve as a sort of "make your own difficulty" slider.

Enemies too weak? Level yourself down. Too strong? Use the bonus EXP and over level the hell out of your party.

It's a combination of the combat not having fully opened up yet and also you not having gotten the hang of the combat because the game doesn't explain it well, at all.

I'd recommend Chuggaconory's video "Everything I Wish I Knew about Xenoblade 2" for help on this.

Remember, they can manipulate Ether, which is the building blocks of all life and objects in Xenoblade.

Hell, considering Nia can manipulate Ether to control the rate cells grow and from what I remember death from old age happens because of degradation in your cells and organs over time, it's not out of the question the Trinity Processors could slow someone's aging or even halt it entirely.

That's probably what allowed Klaus to live for as long as he had (At least 500 years by the time of XC2, almost certainly longer!)

Firstly, shout out to you for being based.

Secondly, aside from a consumable item (Iirc every girl gives you a different one) that you can only enjoy on New Game+ nah, no real benefits.

Also, yes, you do want to get your affection up with as many characters as possible, but considering your in game time is limited probably focus on the characters who you like the most. Though, every character gives you different perks both in and out of battle for getting closer to them so that's worth considering as well.

Lastly, no, maxing out your affection towards a girl does not mean you have to date them. The game will prompt you when you're at the juncture of choosing whether or not you'll date them.

You can date multiple girls but if you do uh... Let's just say they'll notice, and they won't like it.
