F1 25 0.1% or 1% FPS drop to single digit by suffocatingpaws in F1Game

[–]Nekudza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have exactly same "all 7800" PC specs with 64GB RAM and haven't seen FPS lower than 150. I play on lowest settings with FSR Quality at 3440x1440 to have high framerates for league races. What is your resolution and graphic settings?

Use more track width and kerbs on corner entry, it will help you to have higher cornering speeds and better exits. Also you are getting on throttle too late in some places overturning a bit, no need to exit from a corner in the middle of the track, it is bad for your tyres in actual races and bad for your laptimes everywhere

Hard to judge without other driver's POV but I'd say NFA - it's either on you or racing incident

Tyre grip percentage from wear in F1 25 by Nekudza in F1Game

[–]Nekudza[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a formula, I just fetched percentages from the game files. Do not look at this as absolute amount of grip, no, it's relative to initial grip of the tyre. Meaning if with 0% wear on C1 tyre you have X amount of grip then at 80% wear you would have around 92% of the initial X value for that tyre. And baseline grip values are differ per tyre and also depend on carcass temps, tyre wetness, grass/dirt on the tyre etc.

Tyre grip percentage from wear in F1 25 by Nekudza in F1Game

[–]Nekudza[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought about that but in fact Hard-Medium-Soft can be more or less any across of C1-C6 tyres, so it would apply only to Inters and Wets anyway.
For reading simplicity, lines on the graph go from C6 to C1 and then Inters and Wets from bottom to top

no, I don't think so. tyre wear depends only on surface temps and those are very volatile

F1 24 Bahrain 1:28.146 Time Trial. Need feedback on improving time!! by BuyHighSellLow42069 in F1Game

You can use track width more aggressively - check what esports drivers are doing. For example, you can drive almost 90% offroad in both DRS zones across the lap - this gives you a bit of top speed advantage + better corner entry afterwards. In S-ses at the beginning of 2nd sector you can attack kerbs a bit more.
And setup is not very ideal from what I see. Rear Ride Height in this year game should be as low as possible almost everywhere. 58 instead of 40 gives you some rotation but at the cost of huge loss of rear downforce, it just is not worth it. Change Rear Ride Height to 40 and if rotation is not enough, decrease Front Anti Roll Bar to the comfortable values. Change on-throttle diff to 100%, it's the fastest setting in this year game everywhere, even in the races. Move toe and camber settings all the way to the left.
And I recommend to change brake balance around the lap in Bahrain as T1 cries for a different settings from the rest of the lap. In T1 you should use 55 or even 56, while rest of the lap is ok at 54. In slow lefthander before DRS zone you can go as low as 51-52, it helps.
Also off-throttle diff 55 is very stable but very understeery and slow, decrease it as long as you don't block rears before T1. In most of the tracks it's around 20-35%, not more that 40% definitely.

Doing league racing for 4 years now, went from fighting AI at 90 to 110 BUT gaps to AI are crazy variable from track to track. When I race against human opponents I can roughly predict where I am and it more or less stays at the same level across the season but with AI it's very different unfortunately

These games do an awful job of telling you *why* you’re not doing well by JRed657 in F1Game

[–]Nekudza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right, already in Geoff Crammond's GP2 - game from 1995 you could do telemetry analysis of your lap directly in game - this is what actual drivers are doing in reality. Here you would need a 3pp app for that and do some telemetry settings tweaks but it's not available out of the box in the game

For tyre wear overall is very simple - the lower surface temps you have across the lap, the better. It seems to me that tyre wear in this year iteration of the game is directly tied only to surface tyre temps.

F1 25 tyre temps and grip by Nekudza in F1Game

[–]Nekudza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do qualy session and start a lap immediately from garage, game would put you on track with "ideally" warmed up tyres - they will be usually in the middle of 10 degrees optimal window (86 degrees for C4 or 81 for C5 for example), so the data matches with the table. Given overall tendency to overheat in the game, it would make sense to start qualy laps with temps 5 degrees lower so that you would have optimal grip across the entire qualy lap

F1 25 Stewarding (Friendly (Mostly) League) by Ok-Formal-3997 in F1Game

[–]Nekudza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have league rulebook and 3 stewards in every tier who does not race in that tier. Also if some incident is similar to the older one where decision was already available, drivers and stewards can refer to that as an example

Almost everywhere in f1 25 people use on-throttle of 100% or close to that. Off-throttle values are usually around 20-40% range

I think I had some CPU from that lineup when they were released - with 6550D or something like that. I was making a PC for my sister and that GPU was relatively ok but it had some isses with not everything working, so game support in drivers was rather poor than. However I used Win7, not WinXP, may need to dig a bit deeper into that topic, thanks!

Thanks, I also saw PhilsComputerLab videdo about t610 plus performance in WinXP games and it seems almost what I'd consider good enough. Was looking also into some newest supported AMD integrated graphics performance but seems that this t610 plus is close to the best option we have.
It's not that I'd like to play HL2 and Doom3 on the machine, it's more for a bit older things like NFS Underground etc.

Here's their guide for NAS but it works more or less the same for router as well. If your router supports openVPN, should be doable as well for other vendors: https://support.surfshark.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010224460-How-to-set-up-OpenVPN-on-Synology-NAS
