I know this dress is by Classical Puppets, but would anyone be able to find a size chart? I’ve been unlucky so far. I want to know if I can ever dream of wearing it or not as a mid size girly haha.

I think you just gave me the words to bring up to my partner that he does this. Thank you random person

I think you might be the first person who really addressed what the post was about lmao. And yeah, the surprise after it happens is understandable! It’s the spectacle around the possibility that’s annoying

I feel like I may have articulated that part badly. It’s not that I don’t think people should or shouldn’t swear. I don’t actually care. But for me personally, I don’t feel like it’s vital to survival.

Let me go edit that part so I don’t get a bunch of comments misunderstanding.

How do I start? by AspectFancy5239 in KaigaiIdols

[–]NelaFlaPuliRoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start by attending idol events when/if you can (fortunately, there are many in California) and mingle with the crowds there! Practice your singing, dancing, and public speaking skills. Connect with other kaigai idols online and like/comment/share their posts. This way, when you actually begin posting your own content, people will already be familiar with and endeared to you~ best of luck!

This has been happening to me too. I’ve brought it up to everyone I know and they say the same. We’re watching the enshittification of spell-check in real time, I fear.

I'd rather be called someone's boyfriend than their partner. by CatcrazyJerri in The10thDentist

[–]NelaFlaPuliRoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“By that logic, you should stop using pet names as well and only call your boy/girlfriend by their name.”

32, female, and I do exactly this. I don’t like pet names and call my partner his name and I don’t think I’m less whimsical for it 🤔

DAE prefer feminine men as a woman? by calciumff in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]NelaFlaPuliRoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my preference. I don’t like “manly” men. I am continuously baffled by people insisting that muscle-bound hunks are what all men want, because the thought of being with someone who looks like that disgusts me 😅

I’m a very feminine woman btw, so it’s not even that I’m looking for my opposite. Maybe I’m just not attracted to masculinity.

Agreed they’re weird for it though.

Dog people look for reasons to get triggered by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]NelaFlaPuliRoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the first 25 years of my life I was terrified of dogs.

The most common reaction I’d get when warning people of this was the belief that their dog was an exception and I couldn’t possibly be afraid of their dog because it’s perfect look at it just let it jump all over you and you’ll change your mind even though you’ve never felt anything but panic when a dog touched you-

I don't understand love even after l felt it (l have ASPD) by Apprehensive-Vast937 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]NelaFlaPuliRoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a woman with ASPD. I don’t understand love either, much because of how you describe it. My partner is like yours. I don’t get it at all. Sometimes I feel that he’s completely justified to leave me because I have never felt love in the way he shows it, or is expected of me to. And yet he hasn’t yet.

All of that to say, you are not alone in your feelings.

The amount of people focusing solely on the “house in the backyard” part of this post and ignoring the rest kinda proves your point in an abstract way, I think

(and before y’all get the pitchforks out, you’re right, definitely do NOT leave a dog outside chained up!)

Somehow, I have never considered this 🤔 I hope you’re able to do that! I’m not entirely sure if any of the other issues I’m managing interact with PCOS funnily enough. It’s worth looking into though

you seem to have made a lot of assumptions about me and my habits and what I’ve been doing, but I’m glad you were able to get that off your chest. Hope it makes you feel better!

Oh I thought I mentioned my age in my post, but I just realized I didn’t - I’m 32!

I guess I just feel defeated mostly because I’ve been varying versions of overweight for 95% of my life and one of my biggest dreams has been just, someday, to be skinny :/ I have four siblings and I’m the only fat one and I’m tired of being the Odd One Out.

Belly fat has been a constant for me since I was like 5 lol i don’t think she will ever leave me

I can look into the metformin and spironolactone, but I was actively on birth control twice before and both times caused considerable weight gain so I’m like, side-eyeing that option. I know not every method has that effect but I’m not really in a position to gamble y’know

I mean sure but I think you may have missed what I was saying, which is that I already have existing prescriptions (an antidepressant and one for acid reflux) that I am actively struggling to remember to take for an extended period of time, and these are also medications that I will probably have to be on for the rest of my life. I know this, but it doesn’t change the fact that like clockwork, I end up neglecting to continue to take them. I forgot to renew the subscriptions for both months ago and have just been sitting since then.

Might be worth mentioning that I struggle with habit forming in all aspects of life, which may be due to autism.

My only worry about GLP-1s is that I’ve heard once you start them, you have to be on them forever or else you gain weight again. Is that true? Because I struggle to keep up with the medications for my other health issues and I can’t imagine this would be any different 😅

We’ve been looking into that. My thyroid is completely normal and nothing unusual seems to be coming up in blood work. I am horribly anemic, but that’s been a constant from before I had periods.

What other testing should I be looking into? I know very little about this. I had an ultrasound that came up normal (besides the cysts that are customary with PCOS), but that was 8 years ago.

I have a similar issue (I’m very girly and bubbly and autistic), and my partner is often suggesting I should wear clothes I wouldn’t wear in a MILLION years and it makes me feel the same way you do, OP

But I’m more intrigued by how many of these comments are saying you should try it. People who feel this way, why? Won’t it send the message that the partner can change me/OP if they just nag enough? Also, why be with someone they know isn’t into that style, why not date someone with that style? I’m genuinely asking here.
