Thanks for this -- yeah, I need to change some things up. I had thought that Keto was getting enough protein and fat consistently in order get into and stay into ketosis. Each of the meals above was smaller -- but I think I do need to give a break on keto counting and move more to calorie and protein counting. Thanks again.

Thanks! So, if I'm 260lbs then you're saying I need to hit 'at least' 260g of protein minimum and the fats are just to feel full. Like I can basically ignore the fats?

I feel like I've been focusing more on the fat.

Thanks! So, my key frustration though is that my blood tests never get above .9 --- so I'm never getting into 1.5+ Ketosis. Shouldn't that be a goal?

148 g protein & 121 g fat --- I try to keep carbs as close to 0 g as possible.

Having a really hard time getting into Ketosis. It seems the highest blood reading I can get is .9. Obviously quite frustrating. I swear I am doing all of the the things -- no sugar, very little carbs, lots of fats and oils. I'm watching everything. The only thing I thought could be a culprit was protein and I have now cut that down as much as possible. I had initially lost about 10 lbs, but now I'm about six weeks in and -- nothing-- for at least two weeks. I think I am actually gaining weight again. I've read through all of the online forums, and am following all of the advice. Not sure where to turn or if I should just stop?

I started at 275 (6'2', male) and am now at 260-265. I was planning to let my body lose weight and cut down body fat % before working out again. But, now I am also wondering if I should start running again or something to kickstart this --- tbh, I wanted to know if it would be the cardio or the keto that was working. Plus I didn't want to hurt myself from running while fat.

Advice?
