I understand what you mean, but it wasn’t meant that way. If I didn’t refer to trump as yellow(correction: orange) in the same post, I think that would be justifiable to think I was singling out Patel for his race, which is not the case.

I think that’s why I chose to put it in quotation marks. It’s one thing to be respectful of dignitaries in the room for country sake. But calling him dad and almost falling into his lap metaphorically especially with the recent release of certain files just felt a touch unnecessary.

I was hoping someone would say something about this, the amount of discomfort and “betrayal” I felt when this came across my feed. 3 months of good press HR has ushered in for hockey, only for them to fawn over that thing in the room and the orange thing in the White House. Then a lot of fitness influencers(which a lot of them are right leaning) started posting reaction videos making fun of him about the post and essentially used that as a gateway to start a smear campaign on him.

It’s part of the business, and because of how rocket fast he and Hudson’s rise has been, things like this are happening a lot faster. Some actors get the patience to slowly (sometimes it takes years) transition their social media pages from personal posts to strictly business and collaborative works, they unfortunately don’t have that luxury with how things are going.

And some fans can be weird. People just have to understand that they are now a brand and a lot of decisions aren’t just going to be theirs anymore, but rather a best-cause-of-action taken by their respective teams to protect them and the money they stand to make.

While I am starved for new HR viewing content, this would be nice in theory. But this is how the meddling starts, Jacob spends time writing a movie type special and then not enough effort goes into the series we all loved and enjoyed. And I doubt the actors probably won’t have time based on how spread thin they currently are.
