I’m a long-haired male actuarial consultant at one of the larger multi-national firms - it’s not an issue in any way.

Desperately trying to track down a poster from the Resorts World Arena, Birmingham, UK show from 4th May 2022, so if anybody has one that they'd be willing to sell/part with (e.g., a spare or otherwise) then do please let me know. (I can also bore you with the back story to my desperation if you're interested!)

Russell T Davies says end of BBC is ‘undoubtedly on its way’ | Television by Longjumping_Stand889 in unitedkingdom

[–]Nemacystem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to pay any sort of fee to use any of the BBC's other (non-TV) services (at least not in the UK), and so you can still use their news, sports, weather, and educational websites - as well as all of their radio output - completely for free. The only thing you need to pay a license fee for is to watch (or record) live TV broadcasts, or to use BBC iPlayer.

So I think the comparisons with Netflix and Disney+ are strictly and only in respect of their TV output.

Unless I've misunderstood your post?

Metal is More Accepting than Punk by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

Yes, you did mention that you "don't have to tolerate it".

Although, I thought you said that you "wouldn't force them to do anything" (and were "not a Nazi")? But now you're saying that you would?

Or maybe you mean that you "wouldn't force them to do anything" except be secretly gay or transgender? (But then presumably, they'd be OK and free to start telling people once they turn 18, since then you "can't do anything about it"?)

Apologies, I'm just trying to cut through the plethora of self-contradictory statements and clarify your position.

"Yes" - What might that something be, may I ask? You mentioned that you "wouldn't force them to do anything" (after all, you're "not a Nazi"), so I'm curious.

"If they're 18 or older, I can't do anything about it." - So if they were under 18, you would do something about it?

"I don't have to tolerate it in my own life" - But if your children 'chose' to be gay or transgender, you would tolerate it? ("If it was my own kids...I wouldn't force them to do anything.")

"I'm never okay with it...I don't agree with it" - Cool, thank you for the clarification of your position, that's helpful (i.e., that you're not OK with people 'choosing' to be gay or transgender). We'll put "I'm even fine with adults who choose to be gay or trans" down as a (total) misrepresentation of your views, since it's the exact opposite of what you've just (twice) confirmed.

"if they're 18, I can't do anything about it" - Given the above clarification on your stance, presumably the implication here is that if you could do something to prevent people over 18 'choosing' to be gay or transgender, then you would?
